🤔GREY BLENDING TAKES TIME!!!

🛣If you want to get to a point where you can let your grey shine true and stop colouring your hair, know that this is a journey, and you can go about it in different ways. However, it will not happen overnight🌛

🎨With this client she has most white hair around the face, with more natural depth in the back. And she had been colouring her hair at home with a dark violet colour, we had to strip out the violet first which left us with the lovely orange and yellow tones. We then neutrilised this with a natural lighter brown and waited for that to grow and fade before re-lightening the hair.

The next lightening we focused around the face as that will blend with her natural white more, then we added depth back into the back to blend the colour with her natural, this will create a soft grow out that means she won't have to colour her hair anymore. We then purposely toned the lighter hair with the soft grey tone to colour correct any warmth left in the hair; this will fade out a cleaner white instead of a dirty blonde.

📅This process can take 6 months to a year to complete, to keep hair integrity at its most optimum. Lightening the hair repeatedly can be damaging and dry out the hair, so doing this slowly is best to minimise hair breakage.

💦Treatments to be used in between colouring are necessary to repair and hydrate the hair, and prep the hair for the next lightening session, which may require 3-5 sessions to remove colour build-up from the hair🌿

This was our Long hair Natural Curl Blow Wave Service, where we wash and dry the hair into your natural curl pattern - defining your curls with our Curly Gurl Brush😍

💜We washed the hair with our Clever Curl Cleanser and Treatment to really hydrate the hair.
💜We then used our Clever Curl Humid Gel on wet hair - This Gel locks in moisture and keeps out humidity, so your hair won't go frizzy. Our Gels Set for longevity.
💚Our Curly Gurl Brush then helps to define the curl. It smoothes hair with natural bristles; the long bristles detangle, and the ridges on the sides define curls. Then we diffuse dry the hair.
🩷Finishing with our Clever Curl Oil - This breaks the cast that is set by the Gel and makes hair feel soft and glossy.
