Check On Your Mates began as a campaign started by Ben Cargill through his clothing brand RØAMR, following the heartbreaking loss of his friend Phoenix.

It has since grown into a local youth mental-health initiative, reminding young people across Dundee and Tayside that they’re not alone.

Ben and the team have just completed the 20-mile Dundee Kiltwalk, helping take their startup fundraising beyond £2,000.

Now we’d love to help them raise even more.

When I started thinking about Brew Defender Reset, this was exactly the kind of feeling I hoped people would walk away with — not just “that was a sauna and cold plunge”, but that they’d had a proper experience.

The part about feeling like they’d been transported to a music festival for a few hours absolutely made me smile — and a huge part of that atmosphere came from The Newport Inn and the DJ, who helped create such a brilliant vibe down by the Tay.

I’m genuinely grateful for everyone who came along, supported it, chatted, laughed, plunged, sweated it out in the sauna, and helped bring this mad wee idea to life.
