Many of you already know that over the past few weeks I’ve stepped into a new chapter — beginning my career in real estate with Whangamatā Real Estate 🏡✨
After over 25 years in the beauty industry (and so many years with you all here at Flawless), this has been a big but exciting shift.
I’ve now been in real estate for nearly 4 weeks, and I can honestly say I am loving it. It’s a whole new challenge, and I feel incredibly grateful to be part of such a respected, well-established agency with an amazing, supportive team.
Don’t worry — Flawless isn’t going anywhere 💅
I’ll still be here on a smaller, more personal level, and Celine is now stepping into a bigger role within the salon.

An end of an era… and a new chapter ahead 🤍

After 28 years in the beauty industry (over 20 here in Whangamata), I’m closing my salon and stepping into something new.

I’ve now completed my real estate papers and qualified as a licensed salesperson, with plans to officially begin my real estate career in Feb/March 2026. I’ll share more details closer to the time.

To every client who trusted me, shared life with me, laughed, cried, celebrated, and showed up — thank you. This career has been an absolute privilege.

As I move forward, I take with me the skills, care, integrity, and connection that this industry gave me — and I’m so excited to bring them into real estate.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

An end of an era… and the beginning of a new chapter 🤍

After a lot of reflection, I’m ready to share some big news.

I am officially closing my beauty salon and bringing a beautiful chapter of my life to a close. At the same time, I’ve completed my real estate papers and qualified as a licensed real estate salesperson. I’ll be stepping fully into this new career in February / March 2026, and I’ll share more details as that time approaches.

For over 28 years — and more than 20 of those here in Whangamata — I’ve had the absolute privilege of working in the beauty industry. I’ve sat beside you during some of your most special moments, shared countless laughs, celebrated milestones, and also held space through heartbreak, loss, and hard seasons. The trust you placed in me has never been lost on me.

I have felt truly blessed by every single client who has ever walked through my door.

Over the years, I’ve also had the joy of employing and mentoring many incredible staff members, and training and supporting nail technicians as they found their feet in this industry. What began as a passion became a lifelong career — one that shaped who I am both professionally and personally.

While this is very much the end of an era, it’s also the start of something new.

As I step into real estate next year, I take with me all the skills this industry has given me:

✨ trust, discretion, and integrity
✨ attention to detail and presentation
✨ time management and self-discipline
✨ empathy, intuition, and the ability to truly listen
✨ running a business, building long-term relationships, and showing up consistently

These are skills that translate beautifully into helping people navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives — buying and selling homes.

To my clients, colleagues, staff, students, and friends — thank you. Thank you for the loyalty, the support, the stories, the laughter, and the years of shared life. I will carry this chapter with me always.
