Of Laughter and Humour:
The sense of humour is considered as a concurrent instinctive for Homo Sapiens. Laughter sustains in every society and culture irrespective to creed, cast, geography as well as time. Exactly it's an ubiquitous component for our lives. Even some animals are believed to have a sense of humour. A simple laughter or humour lessens people's stress and makes mundane things interesting whereas scientists have already figured out its immense significance in the realm of the study on human psyche and neuroscience.
People start developing the sense of humour and laughter at a very early age; a six weeks infant starts developing the sense of humour.
It contains formidable social values. Humour brings individuals psychologically close to each other and members of a community feel inclined toward a humorous person. Surprisingly, individuals laugh in a varied manner given their social status or hierarchy. Socially influential people laugh in a dominant way whereas comparatively low status individuals produce a sort of submissive laughter.
Humour reduces work related stress by proving with a respite from mundane situations. It stimulates an employee to stick to the assigned goals.
But a guy with sense of humour has to have a sense of time and space. Otherwise, it may appear to signify lack of focus, devotion, as well as professionalism.
Let's laugh in a humorous manner and enjoy life to the maximum. Let's avoid individuals with frozen jaws along with a frowning expression.

বিদেশে থাকার নেতিবাচক দিক:

বাসার পানি অথবা বিদ্যুৎ লাইনে সমস্যা হল। একজন দেশী প্লামার ডেকে আনা হল। তিনি ঠিকঠাক করে গেলেন। ১/২ দিন পর একই সমস্যা ফিরে আসলো। ১ম জনকে ডাকলে আবারও বিল দিতে হবে। তাই অন্য একজনকে ডাকতে বাধা কোথায়?

দ্বিতীয়জন এসে ঠিক করে দিয়ে গেলেন। আর প্রথম জনকে গালাগালি করে গেলেন কাজ পারে না বলে। বুঝছেন ভাই, বাঙ্গালীরা ভালো না। কিন্তু শীঘ্রই একই সমস্যা আবার দেখা দিল।

এবার ডাকা হল তৃতীয় জনকে। তিনিও এসে প্রথম আর দ্বিতীয় জনকে দোষারোপ করে কাজটা করে দিয়ে গেলেন।

আর আমি একই কাজের জন্য কতবার টাকা গুনলাম?

এজন্যই বলি। দেশ থেকে বের হওয়ার আগে টুকটাক বৈদ্যুতিক সারাই এর কাজ, প্লামিং, ড্রাইভিং আর রান্না অবশ্যই শিখে আসুন। আপনি যে কোন পেশার লোক হোননা কেন!

নাহলে আমার মতো বলবেন, "মাননীয় স্পীকার, আমি দোচনা হয়ে গেলাম"।

সৌদি আরবের সাথে মিল রাখা চাঁদপুরের কয়েকটি গ্রামের জন্য শুভ কামনা।

রাতে গ্রামের রাস্তায় মটর সাইকেল চালিয়ে যাচ্ছি। হেড লাইটের আলো তীব্র। কয়েকজন তরুণ রাস্তার পাশে বসে আছে। সবার হাতে মোবাইল ফোন। এটা খুবই প্রত্যাশিত যে তারা দেখার চেষ্টা করবে কে যাচ্ছে। কিন্তু না। তারা মুখ তুলেও তাকালো না।
মোবাইলে বুঁদ হয়ে আছে।
পারিপার্শ্বিকতা সম্পর্কে এক্কেবারেই বেখবর।
ওরা কোন খবর রাখেনা পাশ দিয়ে কে যায়, কী যায়! অদ্ভুত এক সময় যাচ্ছে।
