🛡️ 💉 WHY IS ROUTINE IMMUNIZATION IMPORTANT? 👶❤️
Routine Immunization (RI) is one of the most important ways to protect children from serious vaccine-preventable diseases.
Through routine vaccination, children receive protection against diseases such as:
🛡️ BCG – Tuberculosis
🛡️ Hepatitis B – Hepatitis B infection
🛡️ Pentavalent Vaccine – Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus, Hepatitis B & Hib
🛡️ OPV/IPV – Polio
🛡️ PCV – Pneumonia and other diseases caused by pneumococcus
🛡️ Measles-Rubella (MR) – Measles and Rubella
🛡️ Other vaccines according to the National Immunization Program schedule
✨ Why is it important?
✔️ Protects children from serious illness and complications
✔️ Prevents the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases
✔️ Provides protection at the age when children need it most
✔️ Helps maintain high community immunity
✔️ Protects not only your child, but also other vulnerable members of the community

Unsa ka importante ang porga sa mga bata nag edad 1 to 4 years old.
Ngano importante ang purga?
Ang intestinal worms mahimong makaapekto sa bata pinaagi sa:
Pagkawala sa nutrients → ang worms makigkompetensya sa nutrients nga kinahanglan sa bata.
Anemia, labi na kung hookworm ang infection.
Underweight o poor growth kung dugay o grabe ang infection.
Poor appetite ug abdominal discomfort.
Poor learning/development indirectly kung chronic ang infection ug adunay malnutrition/anemia.
Ang deworming makatabang pagpamenos sa worm burden ug sa complications niini.
Para sa 1–4 years old
Sa public-health setting, ang deworming dili lang para sa bata nga nakakita ta ug worms sa tae. Ang preventive deworming ginahimo sa mga bata sa communities nga adunay significant risk of soil-transmitted helminth infection, kauban sa sanitation, handwashing, safe food/water, ug paggamit og tsinelas.
Importante: Ang eksaktong edad, tambal, dose, ug frequency kinahanglan sundon ang current DOH/WHO protocol, kay lahi ang recommendations depende sa age ug local program.
