- Trabaho pag walang nanonood ang tunay na laro. Yung shooting after practice, yung extra jogging sa umaga — dun ka gumagaling, hindi sa highlights.

- Kontrolin yung ego. May araw na ikaw ang scorer, may araw na taga-screen ka lang at taga-depensa. Parehas mahalaga yun. Kung marunong kang tanggapin role mo, mas tatagal ka sa team.

- Pakinggan ang katawan at coach. Wag matakot mapagod, pero matutong magpahinga at makinig. Minsan ang pinakamagaling na play ay yung pagsunod sa sistema, hindi pilit na tira.

- Attitude > talento. Maraming magaling pero tamad sa ensayo, reklamador sa tawag. Yung coach, mas pipiliin yung may puso at marunong rumespeto kaysa puro talent lang.

- Yung talo, data yan hindi identity. Pag natalo kayo, review: saan ako kinulang? Sa depensa ba? Sa decision? Wag mong dalhin pauwi na parang ikaw mismo yung talo
