Had a quick stop here at Crafteinated tonight and got to chit-chat with the owner, Ms. Ella. 🍵🤎
What started as a quick stop turned into such a warm and heartwarming conversation between someone working in the corporate world and someone building her own business.
Different paths, different experiences, but somehow, there was so much to relate to — the work, the little wins, the challenges, and the passion behind what we do. It was one of those simple conversations that leave you feeling grateful and inspired in the quietest way.
Very humbling to sit across from someone who is also working hard to build something of her own. 🥹
And of course, my drink of choice tonight was their matcha. 🍵💚
If you're around Catalunan Pequeño, do check out this humble little coffee trailer along Catalunan Pequeño Road, near City College. Their coffee and other drinks are genuinely delicious, and it's always nice to support a small local business with a big heart. 🤎☕️🍵
Sometimes, a quick Saturday night stop is all it takes to have a meaningful conversation and leave with a little more warmth in your heart. ✨

It's a "not okay" kinda Monday so I'm here sippin' Biscoff Latte, thinking that misunderstandings and farewells don't mix well with me. ❤️💔

I finally found the brand that never misses. 😭💜
Started with Grace & Glow’s viral Deo Serum, then their Sun Body Serum & lotion… now I’m obsessed with Midnight Siren Body Mist. ✨
Not just hype, not just “budol” — their products actually make you feel confident, fresh, and THAT girl. 🌙💅
Safe to say Grace & Glow became my forever fave.

Tried this with no expectations and ended up liking it more than I thought. It’s clean, smooth, and doesn’t feel like your typical instant coffee. Kind of one of those “you get it when you try it” things. ❤️☕

⚠️ Be careful with unexpected video calls
Don’t answer suspicious calls right away --- always stay cautious.
I just experienced something unusual: a video call suddenly popped up on my screen with no option except to answer via video. What’s even more concerning is that it didn’t appear in my call logs afterward.
Please stay alert and think twice before accepting calls like this. Your safety and privacy matter.

I was on a work-related trip from Thursday to Friday, and every time I rode a taxi, drivers would humbly say...
“Ma’am ikaw na bahala pila idungag nimo, miski gamay ra gud Ma'am kay mahal na kaayo ang gasolina. Salamat Maam."
Even before the oil price hike (because of the Iran–USA fiasco), I would always give extra tips to taxi drivers. But it hits different now --- hearing them ask for it, not out of habit, but out of need. You can feel it. The weight of it.
Then I go online and see posts --- business owners offering discounted, even free gasoline. People doing what they can, giving what they can, helping however they can. And it makes you stop for a moment.
Because in times like this, when everything feels expensive, uncertain, and a little heavier than usual, people are still choosing to show up for each other.
Quietly.
Sincerely.
Without needing recognition.
Maybe that’s the point. Not everyone can give a lot --- but everyone can give something.
A little extra tip.
A small act of kindness.
A bit of understanding.
Let’s look out for each other. Especially now.

It’s Women’s Month, and I found myself thinking about the things people have said about me over the years.
“You’re too sensitive.”
“You take things too seriously. Chill.”
“She’d be prettier if she lost about 20 kilos.”
“She’s too clingy. Too friendly.”
I’d be lying if I said those words never hurt. Of course they did.
Yes, I’m sensitive --- maybe even highly sensitive. But to me, that just means I pay attention. I notice people. I notice how they feel. And sometimes it makes me reflect on myself too --- if I’ve said or done something that might have hurt someone.
Yes, I take things seriously. I worry. I overthink. But that’s also how I prepare myself for when things don’t go the way I hoped they would.
And the weight comments… well. Sigh.
My weight has somehow been other people’s business since elementary school. Now that I’m in my 30s, I just wonder why some people spend so much time pointing out other people’s flaws when they can’t even see their own. Honestly… get a life. Lol.
As for being “too clingy” or “too friendly”--- if you know me, you know it’s never hard to be my friend. I give people my warmth easily. And yes, that has hurt me more times than I can count. I’ve had friends walk away, cut me off, even betray me. But you know what? I will never apologize for being kind. If anything, some people simply didn’t deserve the genuine friendship I gave them.
So here’s what I’m slowly learning: the things people criticize about you can also be the things that make you, "you".
And especially this Women’s Month, I want to remind every woman reading this: Never apologize for being yourself.
Sensitive.
Thoughtful.
Soft.
Strong.
Friendly.
Real.
The world may try to tell you to be less of who you are.
But the right people?
They’ll see it as exactly enough. 💛
