The Office of the Governor has received reports that certain unscrupulous individuals are pretending to be personnel from the Office of Governor Melchor D. Diclas and are soliciting money for a donation drive purportedly for the Red Cross and/or other charitable causes.

The public is hereby warned that this is a SCAM.

Please be advised that the Office of the Governor does not and will never engage in any form of solicitation or fundraising activities by directly asking money from individuals, business establishments, or any organization through phone calls, text messages, or any other means.

We strongly urge everyone to remain vigilant. If you receive any call, message, or communication claiming to be from this Office and requesting monetary contributions for any cause, do not entertain the request.

Immediately report the incident to the nearest Police Station or law enforcement authority for proper investigation and appropriate action.
