The Rosary is centered on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. As you meditate on the Mysteries, your mind is gradually redirected from anxious thoughts to God's saving work.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6-7)
The Rosary is deeply rooted in Scripture. The Our Father comes from Matthew 6:9โ13, while the Hail Mary is drawn from Luke 1:28 and Luke 1:42. Filling your heart with God's Word helps replace fear with faith.
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." (Psalm 119:105)

The slow, repetitive prayers encourage steady breathing and quiet reflection. Studies have found that repetitive prayer and meditative practices can activate the body's relaxation response, lowering stress and helping calm anxious thoughts.

Catholics do not pray the Rosary because Mary replaces Christ, but because she always points us to Him.
"Do whatever He tells you." (John 2:5)
As a loving spiritual mother, Mary intercedes for us and encourages us to trust her Son.

Each Mystery reveals that even suffering has meaning in God's plan. Meditating on Christ's Passion and Resurrection strengthens hope that God can bring good even from difficult situations.
"We know that in everything God works for good with those who love Him." (Romans 8:28)

Jesus promised a peace unlike anything the world offers.
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled." (John 14:27)
The Rosary disposes our hearts to receive that peace through prayer and trust.
Anxiety often grows when we try to carry every burden alone. The Rosary becomes a daily act of surrender, reminding us to entrust our worries to the Lord.
"Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)
The Rosary is not a magical formula that instantly removes every anxious feeling. Rather, it is a powerful Christian prayer that draws us into deeper communion with Jesus through the intercession of Mary. By combining Scripture, meditation, steady prayer, and trust in God's providence, it can bring genuine peace to the heart and help lessen anxiety over time.
As Saint Padre Pio famously said:
"The Rosary is the weapon for these times."
When fear overwhelms you, pick up your Rosary, not because the beads have power in themselves, but because they lead you to Christ, who alone is the source of lasting peace.

Charles Taze Russell (1852โ1916) was an American religious leader who founded the Bible Student movement in the 1870s. His movement later became the historical predecessor of the modern Jehovahโs Witnesses, although the organization adopted that name in 1931, after his death.
Russell was raised in a Presbyterian family but later became associated with Congregationalism. During his youth, he struggled with traditional Christian teachings about hell and divine punishment. Around 1870, he became interested in studying the Bible independently and was influenced by Adventist preachers, including Jonas Wendell.
In the 1870s, Russell formed a group of Bible students who studied Scripture together. In 1879, he began publishing Zionโs Watch Tower and Herald of Christโs Presence. In 1881, he helped establish the organization that became the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society, formally incorporated in 1884.
Russell died in 1916. Under his successors, the movement developed further, and in 1931, under Joseph F. Rutherford, its members adopted the name Jehovahโs Witnesses.

The heavenly glorification of the saints
Russell and his associates expected faithful Christians to be taken to heaven in 1878. This did not happen as anticipated, and the significance of the date was subsequently reinterpreted.
The end of the heavenly calling
Russell extended the expectation that the gathering of the saints to heaven would be completed to 1881. The anticipated event did not occur as expected, and the teaching was revised.
The end of the present world order
Russell predicted that by October 1914, human governments would be overthrown, the present social order would end, and Godโs Kingdom would be fully established. These events did not happen as originally described. The outbreak of World War I was later interpreted as evidence that biblical prophecy had begun to be fulfilled.
A revised chronological expectation
In some later printings of ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐๐ด ๐ข๐ต ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ, the expected conclusion of the Gentile Times was shifted from 1914 to 1915. Neither year brought the complete overthrow of earthly governments that the original chronology had anticipated.
5. The end of the harvest before Russellโs death in 1916
Russell expected the gathering of the heavenly saints to be nearing completion. In 1916, he acknowledged that some Bible Students had expected the harvest to have ended already. He nevertheless maintained that the end was close.

1. 1918 โ Destruction of Christendomโs churches
The 1917 book ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ช๐ฏ๐ช๐ด๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐๐บ๐ด๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐บ, published by the Watch Tower Society, predicted that in 1918 God would destroy churches and that millions of church members would perish. The predicted destruction did not occur as described.
Resurrection of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the faithful prophets.
Rutherford taught that 1925 would mark the return of faithful men of old, including Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to earthly life. They were not resurrected in 1925, and the expectation was later abandoned.
The possible beginning of Christโs thousand-year reign
Watch Tower publications during the 1960s encouraged expectations surrounding 1975, based on the belief that 6,000 years of human history would end that year. Some publications suggested that Christโs thousand-year reign might begin then. The anticipated events did not occur, and the organization later acknowledged that expectations concerning 1975 had contributed to disappointment.

Why Does the Catholic Bible Have 73 Books?
The Catholic Church teaches that these books belong to Sacred Scripture because the Church discerned and received the biblical canon through apostolic Tradition, guided by the Holy Spirit. The Catechism explains that the Church recognized which writings were to be included in the Bible, rather than treating the canon as a list that each Christian could independently determine.
The seven deuterocanonical books are Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch, 1 Maccabees, and 2 Maccabees. Catholic Bibles also contain additional passages in Esther and Daniel. These writings were part of the Greek Old Testament tradition, known as the Septuagint, which was widely used among Greek-speaking Jews and early Christians. The Catholic Church received these books as inspired Scripture.
The Church's recognition of the biblical canon is reflected in early regional councils, including Hippo in AD 393 and Carthage in AD 397. The Council of Trent later solemnly reaffirmed the Catholic canon in 1546, in response to disputes during the Reformation.
Most Protestant Bibles contain 66 books because Protestant traditions generally follow the Hebrew canon for the Old Testament and do not include the deuterocanonical books as canonical Scripture. This difference does not mean that Catholics have added seven new books to the original 27-book New Testament. The difference concerns which books are recognized as part of the Old Testament canon.
For Catholics, the 73-book Bible is the complete canon of Sacred Scripture received by the Church. The Catechism affirms that all 46 Old Testament books and all 27 New Testament books are inspired and canonical.

The fact of the matter is the bible is a Catholic book !

Just as we lovingly take care of the remains of our family members, preserving their graves and remembering their lives with respect, the Catholic Church has likewise honored and safeguarded the remains of the Apostles and other saints throughout the centuries.
They are our family in Christ. They belong to the Church, the family of God. Although the Apostles and saints have gone before us and are now with Christ in Heaven, their bodies remain worthy of honor because the human body is created by God and is destined for resurrection.

The Catholic Church did not begin with Martin Luther, Constantine, or the Middle Ages. Its origins go back to Jesus Christ and the Apostles.
Jesus founded His Church, gave authority to the Apostles, and entrusted Peter with a unique pastoral role:
โYou are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church.โ - Matthew 16:18
From the Apostles, the Church continued through the centuries through apostolic succession, preserving the Gospel, celebrating the sacraments, and proclaiming Christ.
Before Protestantism existed, Christianity had already been living, worshipping, teaching, baptizing, celebrating the Eucharist, and proclaiming the Gospel for many centuries.
Jesus Christ is the beginning - not Martin Luther.

IF YOU BELIEVE THAT THE CHURCH WAS LOST, FALLEN, OR COMPLETELY CORRUPTED, THEN THAT BELIEF WOULD CONTRADICT WHAT JESUS PROMISED.
Jesus promised that His Church WILL REMAIN UNTIL THE END:
โI will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.โ - Matthew 16:18
He also promised to remain with His disciples and His Church
And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.โ - Matthew 28:20
And Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would remain with His disciples and guide them into truth:
โAnd I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate
- John 14:16
Jesus continued:
โWhen the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth.โ - John 16:13
So if someone claims that Christ's Church completely disappeared, became apostate, or lost the truth for centuries, we have to ask:
Did Jesus fail to keep His promises?
Did the gates of hell finally prevail against His Church?
Did the Holy Spirit stop guiding the Church?
Did Christ abandon His Church before the end of the age?
Jesus did not promise that every Christian would be perfect. He did not promise that every Church member would be holy. But He did promise that His Church would endure, that the Holy Spirit would be with His disciples, and that He would remain with them

THE ROSARY OF HIROSHIMA โ THE PRAYER THEY NEVER STOPPED PRAYING.
On August 6, 1945, Hiroshima became one of the darkest places on earth
At 8:15 in the morning, an atomic bomb exploded over the city.
๐Buildings collapsed. Fires spread. Thousands upon thousands of people were killed or horribly injured.
Yet, near the center of the devastation, something extraordinary happened.
Four Jesuit priests were at their mission near the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption.
They survived.
Among them was Father Hubert Schiffer, S.J.
He later recalled the terrifying blast that threw him from his chair and shattered the building around him. The priests were injured, but they survived the catastrophe.
For Father Schiffer, their survival was not simply an incredible coincidence.
He believed God's protection had been upon them.
And he repeatedly pointed to one important detail:
๐น๐๐นThey prayed the Rosary every day๐น๐๐น.
Father Schiffer later wrote a book called The Rosary of Hiroshima, telling the story of their experience and connecting their survival with their devotion to Our Lady and their effort to live the message of Fatima.
The Church does not teach that the Rosary is a magical protection from every physical disaster.
And history cannot scientifically prove that the Rosary caused the priests to survive.
But the testimony of these Jesuits remains deeply moving.
They believed that, in the middle of unimaginable destruction, God had preserved their lives for a purpose.
๐And perhaps that is one of the most beautiful lessons of the story:
The Rosary is not a magic charm.
It is a prayer that places us into the hands of God through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
When the world is frightening
When the future is uncertain
When you don't know what tomorrow will bring
๐PRAY THE ROSARY.
Not because you believe beads are magical.
But because you believe that God hears the prayer of His children.
This October, don't let the month of the Holy Rosary pass without taking your Rosary into your hands.
๐นOne decade.
๐นOne Hail Mary.
๐นOne moment of trust.
And let your prayer begin:
โHoly Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinnersโฆโ
The historical survival of the Jesuit priests is documented; the interpretation of their survival as miraculous protection through the Rosary is their testimony and a matter of faith

Many people say, โThe age of the Church doesn't really matter. It doesn't matter who came first.โ
But we need to ask an important question: WHICH CHURCH CAN TRACE ITS ORIGINS BACK TO JESUS CHRIST AND THE APOSTLES?
Jesus did not simply leave behind a book and tell everyone to establish their own church according to their personal interpretation. He established a Church and entrusted His Apostles with the mission of teaching and making disciples.
๐ MATTHEW 16:18
โThou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.โ
๐ EPHESIANS 2:19-20
The Church is built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ Himself as the chief cornerstone.
๐ 1 TIMOTHY 3:15
The Church is called โthe pillar and ground of the truth.โ
๐ 2 PETER 1:20
โNo prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.โ
The Catholic Church traces its origins to Jesus Christ and the Apostles nearly 2,000 years ago. Throughout history, other Christian traditions and denominations emerged at different times.
Of course, being the oldest does not automatically prove every teaching true. But historical continuity, apostolic origins, and fidelity to the teachings of Christ are important questions we must seriously consider.
So, instead of asking only, โDoes the age of the Church matter?โ let us ask:
โWHICH CHURCH HAS REMAINED CONNECTED TO THE APOSTLES AND THE FAITH THEY RECEIVED FROM JESUS CHRIST?โ
Because Christianity did not begin with modern denominations. It began with Jesus Christ, who established His Church in 33AD.
SEEK THE TRUTH. STUDY THE BIBLE. AND DO NOT IGNORE CHURCH HISTORY.
