📢 FINAL STATEMENT & CALLOUT: Moving Forward with Peace and Professionalism
To our friends, clients, and supporters,
We would like to make it clear that we are officially closing the door on this entire issue. We are choosing to handle this with logic, dignity, and peace, rather than feeding into the negativity.
For those who are assuming or implying that we are the ones behind the recent posts or anonymous callouts—please stop. Unlike others, we do not have the time, the malicious energy, or the desire to destroy anyone’s name or business. We have a reputable business to run, and tearing someone else down is simply not our level. What happened to us was deeply traumatizing, so why would we ever inflict that same harm on another person?
If you truly want to defend, look out for, or support Kylie and myself, please stop posting about this issue or dragging us into it. We explicitly do not want our names linked or associated with that person or their actions ever again. Let karma and conscience handle the rest.
If you genuinely want to show your support, the best way to do it is through our business:
- Recommend our services to future brides and clients.
- Book us for your upcoming special events.
- Like and share our actual hair and makeup work on social media to help our business grow.
Seeing our craft appreciated and our calendar filled with amazing clients brings us genuine joy and fulfills us. Thank you so much to everyone who continues to stand by us, trust our professionalism, and respect our peace.
Onward and upward! ✨💖
DEFENDING THE TRUTH AND OUR YEARS OF HARD WORK‼️
To everyone who has reached out, sent messages, and checked up on us amidst the heavy smear campaign against our business—thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. To the fellow HMUAs, the industry mentors I look up to, the celebrity who validated our work, and my past clients who immediately stood up to defend us, your kind words mean everything to me right now. 🥺❤️
I have been doing makeup since high school, balancing it out as a college working student where I pulled two jobs as a makeup artist and a virtual assistant just to provide for my family. My professors back then can testify to how hard I worked while managing my responsibilities as a student and a mom. I eventually risked quitting my stable office work to pursue this passion full-time and have been doing it professionally for 4 years now.
Every single milestone in my craft was paid for with pure hard work, time, and significant financial investments for international masterclasses—including training under glyde, Jenny Hyun, Sir george luces moraca, Jelly Eugenio, Grace (barbie forteza's hmua), and Hajie Alejandro.
I take my business seriously. I have never used my physical conditions as an excuse to compromise my work. Despite dealing with scoliosis and severe lower back pain from years of physical therapy following my epidural, I have always traveled and carried heavy professional bags to locations just to deliver the seamless service my clients deserve.
This is why it breaks my heart to see our years of clean reputation being single-handedly targeted by unverified claims and anonymous accounts. We poured honest labor into our work, which is why we stood our ground regarding the payment. Our service was delivered properly and professionally.
To our future brides and clients, this experience has taught us valuable business lessons:
-Mandatory Bridal Trials: We will now strictly implement mandatory bridal trials. This protects both the artist and the bride to ensure alignment before the big day.
-Realistic Expectations: Makeup enhances your natural features; it is an art form, not a surgical procedure. Inspo photos serve as a guide, but the final outcome will always complement your unique facial structure.
-Stronger Contracts: We are taking this as an opportunity to further strengthen our legal contracts to protect our business, our team, and our livelihood from malicious interference.
This is the very first time in my entire career that I have encountered this level of hostility. It is deeply painful, but I will not allow anyone to unjustly destroy a career I protected and built from the ground up. We choose to stay true to our craft, treat our clients with absolute respect, and leave the rest to the truth.
To everyone who continues to stand by me and Kylie, thank you for knowing our character. God bless the kind hearts, and may the truth always prevail.

📢 OFFICIAL STATEMENT: SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT ADDRESSING FALSE CLAIMS AND RECENT ONLINE INCIDENTS
Dear clients, industry colleagues, and the wedding community,
As a professional beauty team, we protect our craft, our integrity, and our name. While we welcome honest reviews, we will never tolerate targeted defamation, malicious storytelling, and the use of backup/dummy accounts (such as the post under the name "Mary Chua" seen in Screenshot to execute a smear campaign just because a client was denied a refund for services already fully rendered and utilized.
We are laying out the absolute truth, backed by documented timelines and text receipts, to clear the names of our team and our senior hairstylist, Kylie.
1. The Shifting Narratives on "Mirrors" and On-Site Approvals
The client’s claims have consistently changed to fit a victim narrative. In her initial public comments, she claimed she "was not provided a mirror" (Screenshot_2026-06-28-19-59-42-91_a23b203fd3aafc6dcb84e438dda678b6.jpg). When called out on this lie, she immediately shifted her story to "may mirror pero wala sa harapan ko"
The fact is: Four professional mirrors were used at the venue. Our workflow is highly collaborative, and we strictly checked, verified, and adjusted every single look change with the bride and her sisters in the mirror. She openly expressed how much she loved her brows and foundation during the process.
2. The Truth About the Reception Cutoff and Photoshoot
Our team went above and beyond our contracted duties to ensure she was stress-free. After we departed the venue, the client had already fully changed from her wedding gown into her reception dress. We completely refreshed and perfected her hair and makeup for the reception.
Right after this touch-up, she and her team happily held an active photoshoot with the styling completely flawless and intact. If she was "caught off guard" or dissatisfied, she would not have willingly proceeded to do a whole pictorial and approve the turn-over before our team left.
3. Hair Maintenance vs. Unrealistic Standards
My hairstylist, Kylie Porxild , is an elite professional whose work we stand by completely. He is heavily trusted in the industry and is an on-call stylist for top-tier hair and makeup artists like Aj castro, Glyde Napalla, etc.
The photos she is circulating to claim "messy hair" were taken hours after our team had left the venue, after she had moved around, changed clothes, and actively participated in her reception. A down-do hairstyle with loose curls naturally catches friction and shifts with movement. It requires simple brushing and personal maintenance throughout the night—a fact even her coordinator explicitly reminded her of. Expecting an open, down-style hair look to remain frozen like a stone statue without ever being combed after hours of celebration is completely unrealistic.
4. Weaponized Reviews After Refund Denial
The entire motive of this smear campaign is Disputed and irregular claims. The client directly demanded a refund for the second look, third look, and hair extensions—all of which she fully wore, utilized, and photographed during her wedding.
When we professionally enforced our standard industry policy—stating we do not issue refunds for services already fully completed and utilized—she explicitly threatened us in chat with the words: "Okay i will just leave my honest feedback then"
Our Final Stance
Public reviews should protect consumers, not be used as a retaliatory weapon to bully wedding suppliers into giving away free labor. Blocking her after our final professional response was necessary to stop continuous harassment and threats.
We work hard, treat our brides with the utmost care, and deliver premium results. We will not allow our names to be dragged through the mud by someone trying to retroactively get a free wedding service. We are fully prepared to protect our business.
Thank you to all our past brides, colleagues, and coordinators who know the truth about our quality and service!
