A small win that made me smile today. ✨
A client recently contacted me directly through my cellphone number to inquire about makeup services. During our conversation, I realized she had never seen my page or any of the Facebook groups where I'm usually active.
When I asked how she found me, she said she searched for a "makeup artist near me" on Google.
It may seem like a small thing, but it was a reminder that all the effort I've put into setting up my Google Business Profile, keeping my information updated, and making my services searchable is paying off.
Most of my inquiries usually come from referrals, Facebook, or past clients, so receiving a direct inquiry through Google felt like a milestone.
To anyone running a small business: don't underestimate the power of being searchable online. Sometimes your next client is simply looking for exactly what you offer.
Thank you to everyone who has supported my journey and left reviews along the way. Every review, recommendation, and referral helps more than you know. đź’•
Awaiting the day I could have a more mobile and portable set up. This is a makeup bag perfect for on the go.

POV: You planned to film a behind-the-scenes reel, but ended up getting lost in the moment instead.
Today's fashion show for Happy Andrada was one of those days where the experience mattered more than the content. Between catching up with familiar faces, meeting people I've known online for years, reconnecting with past collaborators, and focusing on the models and makeup, I barely remembered to take videos.
In the end, I only came home with a few clips—but a lot of great memories.
Thank you to Lauren Dalao for inviting me to be part of the glam team as her co-makeup artist, and thank you to Happy Andrada for the opportunity to contribute to such a beautiful show. Special thanks as well to my personal assistant, Evelyn, for helping me throughout the day.
Sometimes the best behind-the-scenes moments are the ones you forget to record because you're busy living them.

This was one of those moments where I had to trust the process.
While applying the makeup, I was honestly a little worried about the blush mixture I had custom-cocktailed for this model. The designer's peg called for a noticeable flush of color, and I wanted to achieve that effect while still keeping the look soft, elegant, and wearable.
Once the entire look came together—the eyes, lips, complexion, and styling—I could finally see the vision. The blush added exactly the warmth and dimension of the look needed, complementing the shimmer on the eyes and bringing the whole makeup design to life.
Sometimes the products don't make sense halfway through the application. That's why experience teaches us to trust the process and evaluate the makeup as a complete look rather than judging individual elements too early.
In the end, the blush cocktail paid off beautifully.

When working with a makeup peg, my goal isn't to copy it exactly—it's to interpret the look in a way that complements the model's unique features while staying true to the designer's vision.
For this model, I recreated the soft glam, polished editorial aesthetic requested by the designer, adjusting the details to suit her eye shape, facial structure, and natural beauty. The result is a look that reflects the original inspiration while feeling authentic and flattering on the person wearing it.
Makeup is never one-size-fits-all. The true artistry lies in adapting the vision to the face in front of you.

One of my favorite hairstyling techniques is combining two different curling iron sizes to create a unique blend of mermaid waves and beach waves. ✨
For this look, I used two different barrel sizes to add dimension, texture, and movement throughout the hair. I especially love how detailed the waves look from both the front and the back—every angle tells a different story.
If you're worried that the curls look too defined or too tight at first, don't be. As the day goes on, the curls naturally relax into softer, more effortless waves while still holding their shape. Even with movement, finger-combing, photoshoots, events, or a full day of wear, the style remains beautifully textured—just with a looser, more lived-in finish.
A good hairstyle isn't just about how it looks when you leave the chair. It's about how beautifully it wears throughout the day. 🤍

Why choose me for your hair & makeup artistry?
You’re not just booking someone who does makeup — you’re working with an artist trained to understand beauty in different environments: fashion shows, stage performances, studio shoots, and even open-air photo shoots under natural lighting.
As a certified makeup artist since 2020 and a professional photographer since 2012, I understand how makeup translates not just in person, but on camera, under flash, ambient light, and long hours of wear.
Beyond training and experience, I understand the concerns women actually have — longevity, skin-like finish, makeup that enhances instead of changing how you look, and feeling confident while still looking like yourself.
Whether you're a woman preparing for a milestone or a future bride wanting timeless, wearable glam, my goal is simple: to help you look like the best version of you.
If that sounds like what you’re looking for, then I may be the right makeup artist for you.
