As you can see, my client’s face appears lighter than her body because I intentionally used a slightly lighter shade of foundation. My client informed me that she has acidic skin, which can cause makeup to oxidize and become darker or grayish over time. To prevent this from happening and to ensure that her makeup would match her skin tone throughout the event, I used a lighter shade of foundation.

My client shared that her skin is acidic, so I adjusted her foundation shade slightly lighter than her natural skin tone. This helps prevent the makeup from turning too dark once oxidation occurs.
