Our boats are built out of Plywood (Tuffply) Fiberglass and Epoxy resin and are aprox. 30% lighter than ordinary boats with its many frames and the big log ( casco) for the bottom. A lighter boat means less gasoline or more cargo which reduces the running cost of the boat. Using Epoxy resin instead of expensive bronce nails as a glue for joints as well as a sealant for the plywood increases the boat’s life expectancy and cuts down the cost of maintenance in comparison to the traditional boat. The mission of ROMBLON BOAT SUPPLY is to introduce new materials and ways of building a boat in order to provide the fishing community with boats they need for their livelihood as well as saving the valuable trees of our beautiful province. All the materials we use are available in our shop located in Sitio Ipil, Brgy.
