𝐀 𝐇𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚

One of the most unusual places we've visited in Metro Manila was the 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥. It was actually recommended to us by a friend, and we're glad we took the time to visit.

To be honest, I rarely, if ever, see any of my friends visit this place. Yet it's one of those 𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 to enter with a valid government-issued ID.

The cemetery honors thousands of 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐠𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐫 𝐈𝐈. Walking through its beautifully maintained grounds almost feels like stepping into a 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬, as it is owned and maintained by the United States government through the American Battle Monuments Commission.

What impressed us most was the 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞. It's quiet, beautifully kept, and unlike any other place we've visited in Manila.

We happened to be around the area one day and remembered we've been wanting to try Chino's WOK 6100 for the longest time. Since we were already nearby, we finally decided to give it a try.

The restaurant has a small dining area, so it can fill up pretty quickly during peak hours. Also, take note that their menu is displayed on the wall behind the counter, so you can browse the available dishes before placing your order.

If you're looking for a Thai restaurant here in Bacolod, Chino's WOK 6100 is definitely worth checking out. We'll also be sharing photos of the dishes we ordered in this post as well as their menu so you can explore more of what they have to offer before your visit. 😊

LANAI by FreshStart, one of our favorite restos here in 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐝! We visited the place while back, and I was impressed by how beautiful the entire place is. 🌿✨

It's a really an 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 place, lalo na kapag gabi. Sobrang ganda ng look at feel ng place! The inside is gorgeous with its wooden ceiling and cozy, warm lighting. They also offer an alfresco dining setup outside.

We ordered several dishes to share, and you can really tell they 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡, 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬. Look how high quality and fresh the food is! (Swipe left to see some photos we took! 👉📸)

For the quality of the food and how beautiful the place is, the prices are very decent and totally worth it.
