🌿 Sometimes, we need to pause, create, and reconnect with ourselves.

Recently, I had the pleasure of attending Wellness Week at Alpha College, and what a beautiful experience it was!

The event was organized so professionally, with activities focused on self-expression, self-reflection, creativity, and mindfulness. One of my favourite moments was making a little pot with sand using my own hands! ✨ I also enjoyed other creative activities that encouraged me to express myself and be present in the moment.

As someone who has spent years in education, I strongly believe that well-being should be an essential part of every educational space. Education is not just about books, grades, and academic success. It is also about nurturing emotional awareness, creativity, confidence, and a sense of belonging.

This belief is also what led me to become a Certified Arts-Integrated Well-being Facilitator.

Through my journey from education and makeup artistry to arts-integrated well-being, I have discovered how creative experiences can open doors to self-expression, reflection, and personal growth.

I am now looking forward to bringing these meaningful experiences to schools, colleges, universities, and communities through my arts-integrated well-being workshops.

Because sometimes, a little colour, a simple creative activity, or a moment of reflection can help us reconnect with the person we are beneath all our daily responsibilities.

Thank you, Alpha College, for creating such a wonderful space for wellness and creativity!

💌 If you represent a school, college, university, or community organization and would like to explore an arts-integrated well-being workshop, I would love to connect with you!

Something I wish we had understood earlier: Mental health matters just as much as physical health. 💚

There was a time when many of us didn’t even know how to understand our emotions, recognize our stress, or acknowledge when we weren’t okay.

Today, we have access to so much information through the internet and social media. We are learning more about mental health, emotional wellbeing, and self-awareness. Yet, at the same time, the constant stimulation, endless scrolling, social expectations, and pressures from our surroundings can leave our minds overwhelmed.

Sometimes, we become so busy fulfilling our responsibilities as parents, partners, professionals, and members of society that we forget one important person: ourselves.

As I continue my journey as an Arts-Integrated Wellbeing Facilitator, I feel increasingly passionate about creating awareness around mental health and helping people understand the importance of self-care, self-expression, and self-awareness.

🌿 Please take care of yourself as much as you take care of your physical health.

Give yourself permission to pause.
Listen to your emotions.
Reflect on what you need.
Set boundaries when necessary.
And remember that asking for support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Self-care is not selfish. Healing is not a luxury. And your wellbeing is not something you should postpone until everyone else is taken care of.

When we nurture our own wellbeing, we can become more present, compassionate, and emotionally available for our families, our communities, and the people around us.

We cannot control every pressure that society places on us, but we can begin by becoming more aware of what we need and by creating spaces where emotional wellbeing is valued, understood, and supported.

💚 My message to you today: Check in with yourself, not just with everyone else.

Because a healthier, happier society begins with people who are encouraged to care for their own wellbeing, too.

When was the last time you genuinely asked yourself, “How am I really feeling?”

❤️

🌿 What Does It Mean to “Hold Space”?

One of the most meaningful ideas I have come across in my journey as an Arts-Integrated Wellbeing Facilitator is the practice of holding space.

But what does it really mean?

Holding space is about being present with someone without rushing to fix, judge, advise, or change what they are experiencing. It means creating an environment where a person feels heard, respected, and safe enough to express what is within them.

Sometimes, people don’t need answers.
They need someone who can simply say, “I’m here. Take your time.”

Holding space can look like:

✨ Listening without immediately giving advice
✨ Being present without judgement
✨ Allowing silence instead of filling every moment
✨ Staying curious rather than making assumptions
✨ Respecting someone’s pace and boundaries
✨ Acknowledging feelings without trying to “fix” them
✨ Creating room for reflection, expression, and self-discovery

What does space holding mean to me?

My journey through education, creativity, and working with people has taught me that every person carries experiences that may not always be visible.

As a teacher, I learned the importance of listening beyond words. As a creative practitioner, I discovered how art can give people another language for feelings and experiences that can sometimes be difficult to express.

Now, as an Arts-Integrated Wellbeing Facilitator, I want to bring these experiences together.

For me, holding space means creating moments where people can pause, breathe, create, reflect, and simply be—without the pressure to perform or have everything figured out.

It isn’t about having all the answers.
It isn’t about fixing someone.
It is about being present enough to walk alongside them while they explore their own answers. 🌱

And sometimes, that quiet presence can be the most powerful thing we offer another person.

This is the kind of space I hope to create through my work.

✨ A New Chapter in My Journey ✨

Today, I’m excited to share something very close to my heart — I am now an Arts-Integrated Wellbeing Facilitator.

My journey has taken me through many different worlds — from studying Economics and working in research and development, to becoming an educator, a professional makeup artist, a content creator, and a community volunteer.

For years, I have worked with people in different ways — teaching children, creating beauty content, leading volunteers, and being part of initiatives that focus on education, confidence, and positive change.

Along the way, I realised something: creativity has the power to connect us with ourselves and with others.

This led me to explore how art and creative expression can support self-awareness, confidence, emotional expression, connection, and overall wellbeing.

Becoming an Arts-Integrated Wellbeing Facilitator feels like bringing together so many pieces of my journey into one meaningful purpose.

I’m excited to begin this new chapter — creating spaces where people can pause, express, reflect, connect, and simply be themselves.

Sometimes, our journey doesn’t change direction — all the different paths finally come together.

Here’s to a new beginning, new learning, and creating meaningful impact through art and wellbeing. ✨

My Night-Time Skincare Routine (Combination Skin)

Keeping my night routine simple but effective has changed my skin so much.
This is what I follow consistently ,

1. Oil-to-Milk Cleanser .skin
To melt away makeup, sunscreen & the day’s stress.

2. Mild Cleanser
Second cleanse to deeply clean without stripping my skin.

3. Milk Toner
For instant hydration and soothing — my skin loves this step.

4. Serum .skin
Chosen according to my skin’s need (hydration, repair, or balance).

5. Moisturiser .skin
Lightweight yet nourishing to lock everything in.

6. Eye Cream
Because gentle care matters, especially at night.

~Skin reminder:
It’s not about how many products you use —
it’s about using the right ones consistently.

Your skin heals, repairs, and resets at night.
Treat it kindly
