48 year old male, daignosed as JAK2 Positive Myelofibrosis in 2013 and remained on JAKAVI, with:
1. Massive splenomegaly
2. Diabetes
2. hypertension
3. treated abdominal TB
4. impending disease transformation
5. extensive osteosclerosis on bone marrow
6. No fully HLA matched donor
*Haplo-identical BMT* done on 8th January 2025 (donor: elder brother, 48 yrs)
Now 1.5 yrs post BMT, doing well

ان تمام لوگوں کے لیے جو ہر بات پر پاکستانی ڈاکٹروں اور ہمارے طبی نظام کو قصوروار ٹھہراتے ہیں، مگر معمولی تکلیف کے لیے بھی ایک گھنٹہ انتظار نہیں کر سکتے، اور ایسے مسائل لے کر ایمرجنسی پہنچ جاتے ہیں جو ہنگامی نہیں ہوتے بلکہ معمول کے مطابق او پی ڈی میں معائنہ کروانے کے متقاضی ہوتے ہیں۔
یاد رکھیں! ایمرجنسی صرف حقیقی جان لیوا اور ہنگامی مریضوں کے لیے ہوتی ہے۔ غیر ضروری طور پر ایمرجنسی کا رخ کرنا اُن مریضوں کے علاج میں تاخیر کا سبب بنتا ہے جن کی جان واقعی خطرے میں ہوتی ہے۔
For all those who keep blaming Pakistani doctors and systems. And can't wait for an hour, and keep coming to the Emergency for minor complaints that are no emergency and need routine OPD check-ups!
