Before I dedicated my career to hair, I was convinced my path would be in fashion. Becoming a fashion designer was always my dream, and even though life led me into hairstyling, I never left that passion behind.

The red pants I’m wearing in these photos? I designed and sewed them myself. Today, I love bringing those two parts of who I am together—creating hair and creating outfits—because in the end, they tell the same story. Fashion and hair have always gone hand in hand.

This client originally had black hair and previous red box dye before we transitioned her into highlights months ago.

And this is exactly why formulation matters.

Even after months of fading, the highlights still maintained a soft caramel reflection instead of turning dull, muddy or overly warm.

Healthy fading is part of the strategy.
The goal isn’t just beautiful color on day one… it’s beautiful evolution over time. ❤️
