Lash extensions look beautiful, but did you know that not cleaning them properly can cause some problems?
What can happen?
• Demodex mites – Tiny mites that naturally live on our skin. Poor lash hygiene can contribute to their overgrowth, causing itching and irritation.
• Blocked oil glands – Buildup around the lash line can affect the glands that keep your eyes hydrated, leading to dryness and discomfort.
• Blepharitis – Inflammation of the eyelids that can cause redness, swelling and itching.
So how do you avoid this?
✔️ Clean your lashes every day with a lash-safe cleanser. Water alone isn’t enough.
✔️ Avoid oil-based products around your extensions.
✔️ Brush your lashes gently with a clean spoolie.
✔️ Don’t ignore itching, redness or irritation.
And remember, even if your extensions look clean, it doesn’t mean your lash line is!
The best massage is the one where you feel completely comfortable 🤍
So speak up, relax, fall asleep… and yes, you can snore too. 😴
