Healy in Vancouver, Canada in 1999. The studio grew rapidly with the addition of sculptors, mouldmakers, application, animatronics and airbrush artists that were the finest in their field. After working on numerous film projects in Romania, John launched a satellite studio in Bucharest in 2005. After hundreds of movie and television projects, Healy FX has cemented its reputation as one of the industry’s top special make-up and creature effects companies. John Healy has worked with such acclaimed directors as James Cameron, John Landis, Steven Spielberg, Brett Ratner and Toby Hooper. Healy is also the personal make-up artist to Nicolas Cage, Steven Segal, Tia Carrere and Billy Ray Cyrus. John Healy teamed up with Romanian local talent Momir Cosmin to bring the studios in Bucharest .
