What is henna? Henna/Mehndi is a paste made out of crushed leaves and twigs of a henna plant. Henna tattoos are non-permanent dying or staining on the top layer of skin using a henna paste product, also known as Mehndi. Natural henna (i only use natural henna) is safe and does not damage the skin whatsoever. How do you draw the henna tattoo? The paste is put in a cone and then applied to the skin. Do you have black henna? Henna is never black. Natural henna varies from light brown to a marroon type brown colour. I do not use black henna and only work with natural henna since black henna will most likely contain chemical additives which may be harmful to your skin. How much does a henna tattoo cost? There is no set price for henna tattos since it is a type of art. It all depends on the size, the type of tattoo wanted and the time put in it. The price can vary from 30kr and above depending on the tattoo wanted. Where can henna be applied? traditionally it is applied on hands or feet but nowadays it can be applied anywhere .
