🤔 Funny observation from the clinic…
When people see a doctor and don’t get better after one visit:
💊 “Maybe I need another course of medication or 3 .”
When people see a physiotherapist:
🏃♂️ “Sure, I’ll book 10 more sessions.”
When people see a chiropractor:
🦴 “Let’s continue the treatment plan, oh I need another 10 or 20 sessions ? Sure ! .”
When people go for a massage:
💆♀️ “See you again next week ( and the next , and next … )
But when they come to see a TCM physician…
🧐 One treatment later:
“So… why am I not completely cured yet?”
😅
Apparently, we are expected to possess ancient secret techniques, divine powers, and perhaps a direct hotline to the heavens.
Never mind that:
✅ The condition has been around for 5 years.
✅ The MRI report is thicker than a novel.
✅ Sleep is 4 hours a night.
✅ Exercise consists mainly of scrolling Facebook.
Yet somehow, one acupuncture session and three days of herbs should solve everything instantly. 😂
The truth is that healing takes time, regardless of whether it’s Western medicine, physiotherapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, or TCM.
Of course there are times when you can get cured in 1 session ( I try my best ) , but it depends on many factors. Sure you might think that the pain is the *same* one you had the last time I treated you , but , my diagnosis might be different and therefore , treatment will be different and recovery rate might be different as well .
If a problem took months or years to develop, it usually takes more than one visit to improve.
Good medicine is not magic.
Good healing is a process.
(But if anyone discovers instant-cure superpowers, please let me know . )

Meridians are pathways through which Qi (vital energy) and Blood circulates . Think of meridians as our MRT track, and acupoints as our Mrt stations . Any disruptions at the tracks or stations will disrupt traffic flow , hence pain or illnesses occurs
