In the past two months, I’ve had two scary falls.
The first time, I landed hard on one kneecap. The second time, I slipped into half split. Both happened because I stumbled on wet floors, and my hips and legs were sore for almost 2 weeks afterward.
I even bought new slippers with better grip, but the experience made me realise that preventing falls may involve more than just changing our footwear.
It also got me thinking: I can’t be the only woman going through this during perimenopause or menopause.
