⚠️ One thing many people don't realise is that product preparation is a very important part of the treatment process.

💉 Most people know PDLLA as a collagen stimulator. But before preparation, it actually comes in the form of a powder. It cannot be injected straight from the vial.

The product must first be properly reconstituted and mixed according to protocol.

At our clinic, PDLLA is diluted with 6mL of normal saline, prepared one day beforehand, and stored appropriately.

Around 30 minutes before treatment, it is mixed thoroughly using a vortex mixer to help ensure the particles are evenly suspended before injection.

🧪 Why does this matter?
Because when discussing collagen stimulators, product preparation is one of the factors doctors consider when aiming for consistent product distribution during treatment.

👨‍⚕️ While every clinic may have its own protocols, preparation, patient selection, injection technique, and individual body response all play a role in the overall treatment journey.

That's why choosing a doctor and clinic you trust is just as important as choosing the treatment itself.

📍 Product Preparation
PDLLA requires proper reconstitution and mixing. If particles remain clustered together, the body may react to the concentrated area, potentially resulting in a lump or nodule.

📍 Injection Technique
Collagen stimulators should be distributed evenly and placed at the appropriate depth. Uneven placement may increase the risk of product accumulation in certain areas.

This is one reason why patients may wish to discuss a doctor's qualifications, training, and experience with the specific treatment being performed.

📍 Individual Body Response
Everyone responds differently. Medical history, medications, and underlying health conditions are important factors to discuss with your doctor before treatment.

💬 One final thought:
Aesthetic treatments are medical procedures. Product preparation methods and injection techniques can vary between clinics and practitioners.
