Some weddings stay with you forever, and Lyn & Ming Xian's wedding is undoubtedly one of them.

When this exquisite celebration at The Ritz-Carlton and Capella Singapore was featured, it brought back so many incredible memories. Every detail was thoughtfully curated around a glamorous Gatsby-inspired theme, where artistry, fashion, and storytelling came together in spectacular fashion.

One of the greatest privileges of this wedding was working alongside the late Lai Chan, the legendary visionary behind
LAI CHAN chongsum.

Having had the honor of being mentored by him earlier in my career, standing beside him on a project of this scale remains one of the proudest moments of my life.

His craftsmanship was extraordinary. Every bespoke piece was painstakingly handcrafted to complement the wedding's unique vision, making each outfit a true work of art.

My journey with Lyn began long before the wedding day itself—from conceptualising her bridal look, conducting hair and makeup trials, exploring hidden gems across Singapore for the pre-wedding photoshoot, to finally bringing everything together on the wedding day.

The level of planning and orchestration left nothing to the imagination. Every transition, every detail, every moment unfolded with precision and elegance. Watching the entire vision come to life was simply awe-inspiring, and I remain incredibly grateful to have been part of such an unforgettable celebration.
Thank you, Lyn & Ming Xian, for allowing me to play a small part in such a magnificent chapter of your lives. It is a wedding I will always treasure.

It was such a privilege to be part of their journey—from the pre-wedding photoshoot with multiple location changes, to standing beside them on their actual wedding day. Behind every beautiful photograph were countless moments of wiping away sweat, sharing laughter, rushing between locations, and chasing that perfect sunset. Those are the memories that often go unseen but make every wedding so special.
