Just Truly Yours

As a teenager growing up in an ordinary Singapore family in the 90s, I always looked up to people who did good for others.

Back then, I didn't have money to donate or special skills to contribute. But when I turned 17 and my junior college organised blood donation drives, I discovered that I could give something that might one day save a life.

So I donated whenever I could.
Over the years, whenever I came across a blood donation drive and met the health requirements (especially the iron level 😅), I would donate again.

Today, things are a little different. Because of the medication I take for my chronic skin condition, I'm no longer eligible to donate blood.

For a while, that made me a little sad.

Then I realised... maybe there are other ways to support this beautiful movement.

This event is especially meaningful to me because it is organised by C2E Keat Hong Community Club, where I've been volunteering with the CERT team whenever time allows. Being able to contribute to a cause I believe in, together with a community that has given me so many opportunities to serve, makes this even more special. ❤️

So for this blood donation drive, Just Truly Yours will be sponsoring 50 complimentary heart-shaped soap-making experiences for blood donors.

It's simply my way of saying thank you to those who choose to give a part of themselves so that someone else can have another chance at life.

I also hope every donor leaves with more than just a handmade heart soap. I hope they discover that caring for our world can take many forms too. Through this simple eco soap-making activity, perhaps they'll be inspired to continue spreading kindness—not only to people, but also to our environment.
Kindness has a ripple effect.

Some give blood. Some give time. Some share skills. Every act matters.

❤️ A milestone that means so much to our young company.

Today, Just Truly Yours Pte. Ltd. was honoured to be recognised as a Singapore Company of Good 2026–2028.

When this journey began just 2 years ago, there wasn't a grand business plan to win awards.

There was simply a belief that a business could do more than sell products.

That every handcrafted soap, diffuser stone, paw balm and workshop could become an opportunity to care for people, care for the community, and care for our environment.

Over the last 2 years, we've spent countless hours volunteering, designing workshops that bring people together, rethinking waste as a resource, and making sustainability intentional and part of our products instead of an afterthought.

These may seem like small actions on their own.

But together, they create something meaningful.

Doing good and doing well are not opposites. Businesses of every size can create lasting value when purpose is woven into everyday decisions.

As a small, young Singapore business, being recognised alongside so many inspiring organisations is both humbling and encouraging.

This award belongs to everyone who has been part of our journey: our customers, workshop participants, volunteers, partners, friends and family. Thank you for believing that business can be a force for good.

This isn't the finish line. It’s the start.

It's a reminder to keep asking ourselves one simple question every day:

"How can we leave people, pets and our planet a little better?"

Everyone's been talking about Dear You, and it's been so heartwarming to see so many people embracing Teochew culture and dialect again. ❤️

As a 100% Teochew, it inspired me to make something just for fun... Teochew Png Kueh moisturising mini soaps! 🩷

Png kueh has always been a staple in my family during festive occasions like Chinese New Year and the Hungry Ghost Festival. I still remember the days when our whole family would gather around the table making them together. As a child, my proudest moment was always when my mum smiled and said I had printed a beautiful kueh. Those simple moments are memories I'll treasure forever.

Now that Mum is no longer around, making these little "calorie-free" png kuehs brings back those precious memories in a different way.

No fillings. No calories. Just lots of nostalgia... and moisturising soap instead. 🫶

Sometimes, the simplest things carry the biggest stories.
