Yes, I want my dark spots to fade. Yes, I want a more even skin tone. And yes, sometimes my skin affects my confidence.

But I'm learning that wanting to improve my skin doesn't mean I have to dislike the skin I have today.

We've become so accustomed to filters and flawless-looking faces that real skin can make us feel like we're doing something wrong.

I'm still working towards my skincare goals, but I'm no longer chasing an unrealistic idea of perfection.
