A Meaningful Milestone for The Journey of Becoming

Today, I had the privilege of donating two copies of my memoir, The Journey of Becoming, to the local library.

As an author, this is more than placing a book on a shelf. It is an opportunity for my story to become part of a place where knowledge is shared, curiosity is nurtured, and lives are transformed through reading.
One of the most encouraging parts of my visit was my conversation with the librarian about the importance of cultivating a love for reading, particularly among young people. We shared ideas about how libraries can continue serving as spaces that inspire learning, creativity, and personal growth. I look forward to future opportunities to support literacy and lifelong learning within our community.
I am grateful to the library staff for welcoming The Journey of Becoming into their collection and for the meaningful conversation about investing in the next generation of readers.
I believe every book has the potential to plant a seed of hope, purpose, or possibility in someone's life.
Every story matters. Every journey has purpose. Every person is becoming.
