Six years.

It's honestly hard to put into words what this journey has meant.

Rabah Naturals started with one simple belief: healthy hair begins with healthy care.

Over the years we've grown, learned, reformulated, celebrated incredible transformations, and built a community that continues to inspire me every single day.

Whether you've been here from the beginning or you've only just discovered us, thank you for trusting me with your hair journey.

This anniversary isn't just about celebrating six years in business.

It's about celebrating every customer who chose to believe in healthier hair.

And yes... we're celebrating all month long.
Keep an eye out because something special is coming before July ends. 🤍

✨ If you're only applying hair oil and hoping for faster hair growth, you could be missing two important steps.

Healthy hair growth isn't about one miracle product. It's about building a routine that supports your scalp, improves product absorption, and stays consistent over time.

That's why we created our Hair Growth Combo, featuring three products that complement each other perfectly.

🌿 Ayurvedic Hair Repair & Growth Oil Made with nutrient-rich Ayurvedic herbs to nourish the scalp and support healthy hair growth.

💦 Hydrating Hair Mist Hydrates both your scalp and hair, helping reduce dryness and breakage while keeping your hair in the best condition to retain growth.

✨ Derma Roller When used correctly, it gently stimulates the scalp and can improve the absorption of your hair oil, making your hair care routine more effective.

This combo is ideal if you're working on:
✔️ Receding edges
✔️ Damaged hairline
✔️ Thinning hair
✔️ Bald spots
✔️ Slow hair growth
✔️ Improving your overall hair growth routine

The goal isn't just to grow hair. It's to create a healthy scalp environment that supports stronger, fuller, healthier-looking hair over time.

💚 Hair Growth Combo – Only UGX 70,000.

Consistency makes the difference, and the right routine can too.

Have you ever looked back at your natural hair journey and thought, "Why was I doing that?" 😂

If you've been on Natural Hair TikTok or YouTube for a while, you've probably tried at least one of these. I know I have.

The truth is, not every natural hair trend or DIY hair growth hack is actually helping your hair grow. Some of them are simply trends that have been repeated so many times that we started accepting them as facts.

Here are 3 things I stopped doing as a natural hair girlie who actually wanted long, healthy hair.

🥚 1. I stopped putting raw eggs on my hair.

For years, we were told that eggs would repair damaged hair because they're rich in protein.

Here's the problem: your hair can't simply absorb whole egg protein and magically become healthier. Most of the proteins in eggs are too large to effectively bond to the hair shaft, and damaged hair can't be "healed" with a DIY treatment. On top of that, washing raw eggs out of textured hair is a struggle (especially if warm water accidentally gets involved 😭).

Now, I choose products that are properly formulated to strengthen and care for my hair instead.

💧 2. I stopped pouring oil onto dry hair and calling it "moisturizing."

This was probably the biggest game changer for me.

Oil is amazing, but oil is not moisture. Oil helps reduce moisture loss by sealing in hydration that's already in your hair. If your hair is dry, adding more oil without adding water first often leaves it feeling greasy instead of moisturized.

Now I hydrate my hair with a water-based product first, then use oil to help lock that moisture in. My hair stays softer, feels healthier, and breaks far less.

🌿 3. I stopped trying every DIY hair recipe I saw online.

Rice water. Onion juice. Garlic. Coffee. Cloves. If it went viral, I wanted to try it.

But I eventually realized that just because something is natural doesn't automatically make it safe, effective, or necessary. Some DIY recipes can irritate your scalp, leave buildup, or simply don't have strong evidence behind the claims.

These days, I'd rather stick to a simple, consistent routine with well-formulated products than keep chasing the next viral hair trend

The irony of running a business... 😂😭

They tell you to post more content so you can get more orders.

Makes sense... until you realize some of the best content comes from customer orders.

So you find yourself waiting for orders to create content, but then you remember you need content to get those orders in the first place. 😂 It's a cycle every small business owner knows all too well.

The truth is, running a business isn't just about making great products. It's about wearing every hat at once. You're the CEO, the marketer, the content creator, the customer service representative, the photographer, the packer, and sometimes even the delivery person. Some days it's exciting, and other days you're just trying to figure out what to post.

If you're a fellow business owner, I know you've been here before. And if you support a business by liking, commenting, sharing, or placing an order, know that it makes a much bigger difference than you probably realize.

💛 Tell me in the comments: What's one ironic or funny thing about running your business that people don't see?

If you're on a healthy hair journey and you're looking for products made with nourishing, plant-based ingredients, follow Rabah Naturals and explore our range designed to support healthier hair and scalp care.

If your goal is real length retention, mini braids will do more for your hair than most styles…

Mini braids are one of the most effective protective styles because they reduce daily manipulation, which is one of the biggest causes of breakage.

With your strands neatly tucked away, you’re not constantly combing, detangling, or restyling. That alone helps your hair retain length over time.

They also give you consistent access to your scalp, which means you can properly moisturize, oil, and maintain a healthy scalp while your hair is in a protective state. And we already know, healthy scalp = better growth environment.

Another thing I love? They distribute tension evenly. Unlike some tight styles that stress your edges and roots, mini braids are gentle when installed correctly, which helps prevent thinning and traction damage.

If you’re someone struggling with dryness, breakage, or slow growth, this is one style that actually supports your hair instead of just looking good.

If you’ve ever done mini braids, tell me how your hair felt after taking them down 👇🏽 And if you’re thinking about trying them, this might be your sign.

One of the most overlooked causes of thinning edges is repeated tension.

Styles that constantly pull on the hairline place stress on the follicles over time, especially when there’s no recovery period between installs. The damage often starts gradually, which is why many people don’t notice it early enough.

Protective styles should protect your hair, not strain it.

Pay attention to signs like:
• Tender scalp after styling
• Small bumps around the hairline
• Thinning temples
• Increased shedding after taking styles down

Your follicles need gentleness to stay healthy long-term.

Low tension styling, proper scalp care, and giving your hair breaks can make a major difference in retention and fullness.

Save this for your next salon appointment and follow for more healthy hair care tips.

🚨 Thinking Minoxidil is damaging your scalp because it's causing dryness and flaking?

Not necessarily.

One of the most common complaints from people using Minoxidil is a dry, itchy, flaky scalp, especially during the first few weeks of use. In many cases, this isn't because Minoxidil itself is harming the scalp. It's because of the ingredients used to deliver it.

Liquid Minoxidil contains alcohol and propylene glycol, which help the active ingredient pe*****te the scalp more effectively. Unfortunately, these ingredients can also disrupt the scalp's moisture balance, leading to dryness, irritation, tightness, and visible flakes around the hairline.

Before you give up on your hair growth treatment, try these simple adjustments:

✔ Consider switching from liquid Minoxidil to the foam version.
✔ Apply only the recommended amount.
✔ Allow Minoxidil to fully absorb before applying a lightweight moisturizer or oil.
✔ Focus on maintaining a healthy, hydrated scalp environment.
✔ Avoid scratching or aggressively exfoliating irritated areas.

Remember, consistency is one of the biggest factors in seeing results with Minoxidil. Understanding how to manage the side effects can make the process much more comfortable and sustainable.

Have you ever experienced dryness, flaking, or irritation while using Minoxidil? Share your experience in the comments, or send us a DM if you'd like help creating a scalp care routine that supports healthy hair growth. 🌱
