Many women think skipping meals is the key to weight loss.
In coaching, I often find it has the opposite effect.
When you wait until you’re starving, it’s much harder to stop eating when you’re comfortably satisfied or make balanced choices.
Instead of trying to eat as little as possible, focus on eating regular, balanced meals that keep you satisfied.
Weight loss is often easier when you’re not fighting hunger all day.
💬 Have you ever noticed you eat more when you’ve waited too long to eat?
Take care.

One of the simplest changes I recommend is changing the order you build your plate.
🥦 Start with vegetables.
🍗 Add your protein.
🍚 Then your carbohydrates.
You don’t need to cut out your favourite foods.
Small changes like this can help you feel fuller while making it easier to stay on track.
💬 Is this how you normally build your plate?
Take care.
Trying to lose weight shouldn’t feel like punishment.
One thing I often notice in coaching is that many women think they have to suffer to see results.
They cut out foods they enjoy.
They stay hungry.
They try to be perfect.
But lasting weight loss doesn’t come from doing the hardest thing.
It comes from doing the right things consistently.
💬 What’s one food you thought you had to give up to lose weight?
Take care.
You don’t have to avoid restaurants to lose weight.
One meal won’t ruin your progress.
The goal is making slightly better choices—not perfect ones.
When I eat out, I usually think about:
✔ Protein
✔ Vegetables
✔ Portions
That’s often enough to stay on track.
Weight loss should fit your life, not stop it.
💬 What’s hardest for you when eating out?
Trying to lose weight?
One of the most common mistakes I see is assuming that because a food is healthy, you can eat as much as you like.
Healthy foods are good for you.
But portions still matter if your goal is weight loss.
You don’t need to avoid them.
You just need to be mindful of how much you’re eating.
Small changes often make the biggest difference.
💬 Which healthy food surprises people the most?
Trying to change everything at once might feel motivating…
…but it’s one of the biggest mistakes I see.
When you try to overhaul your diet, start exercising every day, drink more water and give up all your favourite foods at the same time, it becomes difficult to keep going.
Instead, choose one habit.
Work on it until it feels normal.
Then add the next one.
That’s how lasting weight loss is built—one sustainable habit at a time.
💬 What’s one habit you’re focusing on this week?
Take care.
One thing I often help clients with has nothing to do with cutting out foods.
It’s learning when to stop eating.
Many of us were taught to eat until we’re completely full.
But if you’re trying to lose weight, stopping when you’re comfortably satisfied is often enough.
This small habit won’t feel perfect overnight, but with practice it becomes much easier.
Weight loss isn’t about starving yourself.
It’s about recognising when you’ve had enough.
Do you usually stop when you’re satisfied or when you’re already stuffed?
Take care.
Many of us grew up believing we should finish everything on our plate and eat until we’re completely full.
But if you’re trying to lose weight, there’s a helpful skill to practise.
Stop when you’re comfortably satisfied—not stuffed.
It’s a small change, but over time it can make managing portions much easier.
Weight loss isn’t about being hungry.
It’s about learning when you’ve had enough.
Take care.
One of the most common things I hear from people trying to lose weight is:
“I’m always hungry.”
Most people assume they need more willpower.
But before blaming yourself, take a look at your meals.
Are they keeping you full?
Protein helps with fullness and can make it easier to eat less without feeling deprived.
You don’t need to be perfect.
You just need meals that work with your body instead of against it.
If you’re constantly hungry while trying to lose weight, your meals may need more protein.
What’s your go-to source of protein?
If you’re trying to lose weight, doing more is not always better.
More rules
More restrictions
More pressure
That’s what leads to burnout.
Simple habits done consistently will always beat complicated plans you can’t stick to.
If you’re tired of starting over, simplify your approach.
Take care
