Pro tip: Sometimes if a product makes your skin unusually soft and glowy, it's actually a sign that your skin is being damaged and you are accelerating the aging process.
Some product ingredients won't completely soak into the skin so they act like plastic wrap on top of the skin. All of the water (hydration) moves to the surface dehydrating the skin under the skin surface where new skin cells are formed and collagen and elastin for the structure. It makes your skin super soft and glowy on the surface, but under your skin everything is being damaged.
PH balanced, orthodermic fatty acids, and ingredient pairing that makes the right ingredients sink below the surface of the skin....that's what counts and what can slow the aging process.
PS please don't message me about whether you think your skin care is ok in this case, people buy skin care because they believe in their claims much like a religion and her upset when their belief is countered, so I won't be doing that. Lol
Profiling Beauty was founded on 11/7/2004, with a mission to create toxin-free & effective skincare solutions. What began as a humble home business, with my young daughters helping to label products, has grown into an international brand, shipping to countries like Turkey, Spain, Italy, & Brazil.
In 2011, new regulations required us to upgrade our facilities, leading to the establishment of our state-of-the-art lab. Our lab is specially designed to formulate products for hypersensitive individuals, addressing issues like allergies to perfumes, preservatives & heavy metals.
In 2012, two yoga teachers were looking at building a hot yoga studio. I loved the idea of working in the lab, then going up & doing some yoga. Unfortunately the teachers wound up backing out, which left me to take the reins, & go to Colorado for an intensive yoga teacher training.
On July 11th, 2013, we opened Profiling Beauty, Health & Wellness Center's Hot Yoga Studio. Over the following years, we expanded to include a 2nd studio for barre classes & later built a studio for aerial yoga & bungee fitness. In 2018, the yoga studio was rebranded as Fit and Fire Studios. This year, we added a spin studio, a Pilates reformer studio, spaces for massage therapists, & estheticians. The building also expanded to host a massage therapy school, a photography studio & a tattoo artist.
It's been 20 years of laughter, tears, hugs, late nights of working. I've met the most amazing people along the way & so many incredible & intelligent people have lent their talents to create the community we have today. I couldn't have done any of it without them!

So some may already know that I graduated from massage therapy school and became a Licensed Massage Therapist -- I told everyone that I wanted to hold off on booking appointments until after May 11th. There were several reasons, but the most important reason that I wanted to do this was to take some extra training.
I certified in Pre and Post Natal Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and Oncology Massage. It was important for me to make sure I had those in place before I started because my passion is to help people, and I really felt that I needed those in place to make sure I could serve people better.
As most know I am also a licensed Esthetician (still available to book for those treatments), 500RYT Yoga teacher, Sleep Science Coach, Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Barre Teacher, Certified Pilates and Pilates Apparatus Teacher, Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist, Qi Gong Teacher, with quite a few other Yoga and health related specialty certifications as well (and currently finishing up my training as a Clinical Yoga Therapist).
I do all of this in order to offer a full body approach to help people. Body masks can be used to deliver Ayurvedic treatments, Yoga therapy to teach people to help their body bring back balance, Personal training and Pilates to help address muscle imbalances - so in reality - all these things aren't random - they were going toward the ultimate goal. My goal is not to just have you leave and carry on until your next session.

BEWARE OF HOMEMADE SKIN CARE!!!
There are recipes all over the internet, and often you can even buy skin care that has been made in someones home. BUT, they must follow federal labeling guidelines:
- Must have a contact phone number
- Must clearly state that the product was not made in a Lab or a Commericial Kitchen
- Must have ALL ingredients listed in order of highest concentration and lowest concentration
- Batch Number/Creation Date/Expiration Date
While it is perfectly acceptable for many estheticians and cosmetologists to mix product, the rule is that it must be used immediately, and if it is to be sold commerically, it must be labeled properly.
WHY??? Because in commercial production of cosmetics and personal care products, care is made to make sure that all intruments used, the environment and the ingredients are all free of bacteria, virus and fungus. If there is any contaminant at all, those microorganisms will be sealed in the product and begin to grow, not only causing disgusting mold, but also providing a nutrient rich place for bacteria to grow.
Bacteria can create toxins as they grow and multiply - so you can have actual poisons infiltrate the formula. PLUS Staphylococcus Bateria is EVERYWHERE, and you run the risk of the product housing a place for MRSA Methillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureua - a bateria that literally eats the skin - and is resistant to many antibiotics. A person can mistake it for a pimple and let it sit on the skin for a long time which may cause permanent disfigurement.
