October is Domestic Violence Month.

Many of us, both men and women, have experienced abuse at the hand of an intimate partner. Some of us wear our experience for others to see, and some don't. Just know, you are always safe with me and in my studio. I see you and I'm here for you.

As an esthetician, I am in a unique position to get to know my clients at a much deeper level than most professions. I spend HOURS with my clients every year, just the two of us behind closed doors.

I celebrate your wins, your successes, and your excitement with you. I also have the opportunity to be a quiet place for some to share the things you don't just tell everyone. I've held people while they have cried, I have listened while people spilled their stories, and I will always hold space for you and your experience, no matter what it may be.

This is a small way for me to ensure that no matter what you share, I'm prepared to be an effective support for you.

I wouldn't be where I am without my clients, so it's my job to not just care for your skin, lashes or brows, but for your whole being.

If you’re feeling under the weather, please let me know as soon as you can. I would much rather reschedule your appointment than have you feel like you need to come in sick or simply not show up.

As long as you give me some advance notice, I’m happy to work with you to reschedule. ❤️

We’re all human, and things happen. Just remember, I’m human too! Please help me take care of myself, my other clients, and our little studio community by staying home when you’re sick and communicating with me as soon as possible.
