Emily is hanging up her shears and starting her next adventure outside of hair. We’ve had a front row seat to her growth, and it’s been one of our favorite things to watch. The stylist who was so close to giving up, built a career most would think is impossible. We’ve watched her become an incredible woman, artist, and momma. We are SO proud.

Emily has been through many changes at TCL. She’s helped me become a better leader, and taught me patience along the way. She’s brought so much love and light to our team, and our guests.

Emily poured so much heart into her guests. She built relationships in that chair, the kind with inside jokes and life updates and hair that felt like you. We know those connections don’t just transfer overnight, and we don’t take that lightly.

To Emily’s guests: We know that no one will ever replace her, but our team is ready to take care of you with the same intention, artistry, and love she always brought.

Emily, thank you for every smile, every laugh, and every late night goofing off after a stressful day. Most importantly, thank you for being a vital part of our growth, and always trusting me and my vision for TCL.

Tasha just traded her “across the mountain” Appalachian roots in NC for her husband’s native ones here in Southwest Virginia — and she’s ready to bring the same creativity, integrity, and 15+ years of experience to her new home here in Abingdon.

For Tasha, a great color or cut has never been about a trend — it’s about a transformation. She’s walked clients through every season of change (and a few of her own: blonde, brunette, currently red), always with the goal of making sure they leave feeling seen, cared for, and confident. Hair health and long-term results aren’t an afterthought for her — they’re the whole point.

That same investment in people — PTA, PTO, her community — shows up the moment you sit in her chair. You’re not just a client to Tasha; you’re someone she’s genuinely pulling for.
