This video breaks my heart all over again. Today as we lay my father to rest, I just want to take a second and give him his flowers. My daddy was EVERYTHING to me. My confidant, my protector, my “Mr. Fix it” , my “Mr. Grill it”, my biggest headache and my biggest joy. I watched you move us out of a 2 bedroom apartment to a house with a pool then a 7 thousand square foot home. You taught me and Ab how to grind! A larger part of the person I am today came from your molding. Daddy do you remember when me and Ab caught that blow out on I20 !? lol you called back and I had changed that tire myself. You showed me how to do it and gave me the ability to believe in myself. I have stories for days , memories that will last a lifetime. I can honestly say I wasn’t ready to let you go. That’s the part I’m having a hard time with daddy. I just wasn’t ready but I guess God needed you to come fix the gate or something. Say hello to grandpa , uncle Mike and uncle Robert for me. Continue to cover us as you always have now from a more omnipresent space. I love you more than you’ll ever know.
