Who taught you to doubt yourself so politely?

Because that's how it usually sounds. Not cruel, just reasonable. "Are you sure?" "Maybe wait until things settle." "Who do you think you are to charge that?"

Reasonable is what makes it dangerous. A nasty voice is easy to dismiss. A sensible one talks you out of your own life.

I've learned not to fight it. I just refuse to take instructions from it. I let it talk and I keep dialing, keep asking, keep showing up. Every single time, the doing is what quiets it, never the thinking.

So the next time your mind asks whether you can really do this, smile and say watch me. Then go do one thing that proves it before the day ends.
