Hi! I would like to reintroduce myself!

I am Jackie Young, I am a master colorist and cutter at Jackie Renee Salon in West Akron's Pilgrim Square.

I specialize in all coloring services for all hair types, with a focus on color correction for blonding, grey blending, and hard-to-cover grey hair. If you’re looking to transition from dark to light, achieve a seamless blonde without brassiness, or simply want a color that doesn’t require constant upkeep, I’ve got you covered!

I do love cutting short hair and I absolutely LOVE a bobs, but that is not all I can do... I have been finding that a lot of my new guests are getting "cutting corrections" - that is when you need your cut tweaked to lay right while you grow certain parts to get the cut or shape that you really want while keeping it stylish...

Outside of the salon, you can find me unwinding on weekends, camping or hiking. I recently got a camper, so I’m definitely leaning towards glamping! My furry companion, Nacho, is my trusty sidekick and head of salon security. He’s always by my side, whether we’re out adventuring or at work, ready to accept belly rubs and milk bones.
