Your face is relaxed, but those lines didn’t get the memo. 👀
Not all wrinkles are created by movement. Over time, repeated expressions, collagen loss, and changes in skin elasticity can leave behind lines that remain visible even when your face is completely at rest. These are called static lines.
That’s where microneedling comes in! By creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin, microneedling stimulates your body’s natural collagen and elastin production, helping improve skin texture, soften fine lines, and support firmer, smoother-looking skin over time.
Because sometimes the answer isn’t to relax the muscles more. It’s to improve the quality of the skin itself. ✨
Ready to give your skin a little collagen encouragement? Let’s talk microneedling!

The glabella is a small area with a lot going on underneath.
These muscles work together to pull the brows inward and down, which is why treating the glabellar complex isn’t simply about chasing the “11s.” It’s about understanding the anatomy, how your muscles move, and how they interact with the rest of the upper face.
Mapping first allows me to treat with intention, softening strong movement while keeping your expression looking natural and balanced.
Because good Botox shouldn’t announce itself. You should still look like you… just a little less angry at your inbox. 😉

We get it, not everyone wants their results on the internet. But when they’re this good… we have to get creative. 😂🤫
Sculptra vs. filler: which lasts longer? 👀
They can look surprisingly similar at first—but later? Not even close.
A newly published randomized study compared poly-L-lactic acid, or PLLA—the collagen-stimulating material used in Sculptra—with hyaluronic acid dermal filler for nasolabial folds.
At 12 weeks, their correction rates were nearly identical:
PLLA: 90%
HA filler: 88%
But 120 weeks after the final treatment, nearly 56% of the PLLA group still met the correction endpoint, compared with only 25% of the hyaluronic acid filler group.
That is more than double the rate.
Why did the results separate?
Hyaluronic acid filler provides more immediate, targeted structure. Sculptra works gradually by stimulating your own collagen to help restore facial volume, firmness and support over time.
One isn’t automatically better—they’re designed to accomplish different things.
I may recommend Sculptra when I see:
• Gradual facial thinning
• Loss of cheek support
• Deepening smile lines
• Softer facial contours
• Early lower-face changes
• Declining firmness and skin quality
Sculptra isn’t about chasing one line or selling you a vial. It’s about creating a long-term collagen strategy based on your anatomy.
Would you choose immediate correction or gradual collagen stimulation? Tell me below.

Study: Liu Y, et al. Divergent Time Courses of Poly-L-Lactic Acid and Hyaluronic Acid Fillers for Nasolabial Fold Correction: A Multicenter Randomized Trial With 120-Week Follow-Up. PMID: 42594306.
The study evaluated moderate-to-severe nasolabial folds. The long-term extension included fewer participants and was observational. Individual results and treatment plans by C vary.
