The Ballyshaners 43rd Alexandria St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held tomorrow Saturday, March 7th, 2026 starting at 12pm. It’s likely going to be very busy and local traffic will be more congested than usual.

Please take this into consideration when planning your route to the Salon, as it is sure to impact travel time.

There is Strand Parking behind our building ($15), or you may want to consider using a ride-share app to avoid driving all together.

George Washington’s Birthday Parade, Sat February 14, 2026

Alexandria loves George Washington, and parades, so this Saturday there will be parade to celebrate George Washington’s Birthday!

While the parade is from 2pm-4pm, ROAD CLOSURES will begin at 7am, ending at 4pm.

As you can see on the map, the areas around the Salon (⭐) will have NO PUBLIC PARKING available, and there will be blockades from Princess St to Franklin St.

Please take this into consideration when planning your route to the Salon, as it is sure to impact travel time.

There is Strand Parking behind our building ($15), or you may want to consider using a ride-share app to avoid driving all together.

Due to continued inclement weather, SalonMONTE will remain closed for another day to prioritize the safety of our clients and team.
