Okay, so I may have fibbed because now I am sending another email. Some have asked for clarification regarding the Rules/Guidelines I had noted yesterday. This is a lot, I know. It makes me question, "why are we even opening" but in order to open; these rules/guidelines will be the NEW NORMAL for now.

Please continue to be patient during this continued process.

PHASE 1 Rules & Guidelines: The guidelines are provided by DPOR (Dept of Professional & Occupational Regulation) and by CDC

** I will be doing Temperature Checks upon Entering - ** I know we can be Asymptomatic and show NO SYMPTOMS (Wearing mask will help prevent spread) - Temperature checks do give a false sense of security because we can be Asymptomatic but it doesn't hurt to take every precaution.

** Any exposure to anyone who has had covid and/or Currently have tested positive and yet to self isolate for the Required time. If this has been within 2-4 weeks of appointment and yet to test Negative, RESCHEDULE 😔

** Showing Symptoms of: fatigue, body aches, nausea, congestion, shortness of breath or difficulty of breathing, headache, and loss of smell/taste
***** these are all similar symptoms to Seasonal Allergies but unfortunately we can not differentiate & during Phase 1 better safe than Sorry.

** If upon arriving you show any of the above symptoms, I will ask that you reschedule your Appointment!! Rescheduling will be your Best Friend - No questions asked OR if you simply feel uncomfortable and just NOT ready to come in - I understand

** Hand Sanitizer, Gloves (not required to wear) and Clorox Wipes (to be used as you please) will be available for use in Loft

** No Magazines or Beverages will be offered

1. Everyone will be REQUIRED to Wear A Mask, including myself - NO EXCEPTIONS

2. TEXT Me at 703-786-2002 or 571-399-5422 Once you have arrived. -- You will be Required to Remain EITHER in Your Vehicle or Outside - waiting inside of Salon Lofts or in my Room is not Allowed.

3. I will Text/Call you once I am ready for you to Come In (this will be After current client leaves and After I have Ample Time to CLEAN and SANITIZE the SPACE) - Please WEAR Your MASK -

4. Please use the Front Door to Enter - That is the only door we will Be Using - The Emergency Exit door next to my loft can be used to EXIT ONLY

5. Only One Client at a Time will be allowed inside the loft - Please DO Not Bring Anyone with you

6. For Haircut Only APPOINTMENTS ---- You can come in with Washed and Wet Hair (that would be great), I can spray down, or if needed I will wash you upon your arrival.- No Styling or Drying

7. For Color/Hilites and /or Cut APPOINTMENTS ----- I will Dry Cut Beforehand (if possible) Do Color Service - Gloss/Tone - Shampoo/Conditioner - Rinse - Rough dry enough to see shape of cut and the tone of color ---- No full Blow-dry/Blow-out or Styling After Service (rough dry Only)

8. EVERYONE has a Hair Emergency ---- So, All appointments have been adjusted by eliminating the Blow-dry service to accommodate everyone getting in and out in a timely manner. This decision was made due to ALL the Hair Emergency requests and this will allow me to schedule more clients in one day without having to be working 12 hour days. Please remember my Work Schedule has changed to 4 Days a week (Sunday-Wednesday) No Thursday, Friday or Saturday

We have the Green Light!! May 29, 2020 will be the day we are opening. My first day back to work will be on Sunday, May 31st. Thanfully, I had stayed ahead of the game and rescheduled clients each time the date was extended. So, I am happy to say that everyone has been rescheduled.
My schedule has now changed to Sunday - Wednesday, AND off Thursday - Saturday. Appointments are recommended to be booked online, if yiu have any questions please feel free to contact me. An email was sent out fully laying out in detail the new rules and guidelines that will need to be followed by everyone.

I have been thinking about this day since I was 17, the day he was born. It has been 23 years and Junior did it. As he would say "It's about time," yes it is JunBug❣️ We are all very proud of you Junior ♥️ You put in the hard work so you can take that diploma, hold it up and yell "I fckin did it." I am probably more excited than you are, but I'm sure you know that already. There is no handbook on how to be a parent. You just learn along the way, figure it out and do the best you can. Luckily, I have my parents & brother who stuck by me, guided me and helped with raising Junior. My mom, for also being a mother to you when I didnt know what the hell I was doing. Michael, who has a big role in raising JunBug with me since he was 4. Welcoming me and a 4 year old into his life raising and loving him as his own. 💥♥️🖤💫

Hi Everyone! Here is a quick update. The Re-open date is now extended to May 15. If nothing else changes I will begin to reschedule clients by the end of this week once it is confirmed. Please also know that Xanthy and I will do our best to not overlap our schedules, therefore I will not be working any extra days. Thank you all for being patient, flexible and understanding with me as I continue to accommodate everyone in a timely manner. Va Governor Northam issued a "Stay-At-Home" order effective immediately that remains in place until June 10, 2020 unless it is amended or rescinded. This unfortunately still affects the non-essential businesses, which means I too will have to remain closed until that date. Thank you to those of you who have reached out to me to offer love and support during this difficult time. If I have already rescheduled your original appointment please know that I will be reaching out again. You do still have the option to reschedule on the online system if that is easier . Virginia has been mandated for non-essential businesses to temporarily close due to the Coronavirus. I will be temporarily closing for 30 days and will have an expected reopen date of April 24, 2020. I know this has been a tough couple weeks but please be assured that I will get all appointments rescheduled in a timely matter. Thank you for the continuing support me as a small business owner. All the gestures of wanting to help support me as a small business owner has me very grateful for all my amazing client friends.
