This absolutely is not my normal content, but I really need to address it.

Friends, for many of you, the holidays are only two hair appointments away. My schedule is getting busy, and I have clients on a waitlist hoping to get in.

Lately, last-minute cancellations and missed appointments have left hours open in my day. When I reserve 2½ hours for someone, that time is theirs. A cancellation the day before—or no notice at all—often means I can’t fill that opening. That’s income I don’t get back.

I really hate having to put this policy in place. I know the holiday season gets hectic for all of us—your schedules are full, and mine is too. I understand that life happens, but this is my business and my livelihood, and I need us to be considerate of each other’s time.

For new chemical-service bookings during the holiday season:

• A 50% nonrefundable deposit will secure your appointment and be applied toward your service.

• Please give at least 72 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. With that notice, your deposit can transfer to a new appointment.

• If you cancel or reschedule with less than 72 hours’ notice, or miss your appointment, your deposit will be kept to cover part of the time reserved for you. A new deposit will be needed to book another appointment.

Please check your calendar ahead of time rather than waiting for your two-day appointment reminder.

Thank you for understanding and for respecting the time I set aside for you. I love taking care of you, and I want to make room for everyone hoping to get a little holiday hair love. ❤️

I know, I know—it’s about to be October. But hear me out. 😂

I’m off from the salon today, but my brain is still at work. Tell me what you think of this idea: The Salon Tab—a digital gift toward someone’s next visit with me.

Let me keep it real. I cannot tell you how many people sit in my chair and say, “Oh, you need to see my friend’s hair. It’s BAD. I wish they would come to you, but I can’t tell them that without hurting their feelings.” 👀

Friend, I’m a hairdresser. Of course I know everything. I just don’t repeat it. 💅🏼

So I started laughing… what if you could put something on that friend’s Salon Tab and have me send it anonymously? You never have to have the conversation. They get a visit that’s already been paid toward. I’d never tell, and their hair would thank us both. 🤣

Or you could use it as a perfectly innocent holiday gift. I’m also thinking of giving the buyer 20% off a personal hair care recommendation from my online store.
