For us, it comes down to control. Hand filing allows us to work slowly and intentionally, removing only what’s needed while being mindful of your natural nail.
Over-filing can thin and damage the nail plate and leave those telltale “rings of fire” that have to grow out with the nail. That’s exactly what we’re trying to avoid.
It may take us a little longer, but protecting the integrity of your natural nail is worth the extra time.
Because how we get to beautiful matters just as much as the finished result.
