⚠️ WARNING: Needles are shown in this reel! 💉
Your body already has some pretty incredible tools for healing, PRP helps us put them to work.
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) uses a concentrated portion of your own blood, rich in platelets and growth factors, which is then injected into the targeted area to support the body’s natural healing and repair processes.
At The Wellness Lounge, we use PRP as part of a comprehensive approach for joint and soft-tissue concerns, especially when the goal is to support healing, improve function, and get you moving comfortably again.
The process:
🩸 A small amount of your blood is drawn
🧪 It’s processed to concentrate the platelets
💉 The PRP is injected into the targeted area
🌱 Your body takes it from there
PRP isn’t about simply masking discomfort it’s a regenerative approach designed to support the healing process.
Curious whether PRP could be appropriate for your knee, shoulder, hip, tendon, or other joint concern? Schedule a consultation with our team.
Individual results vary. PRP may not be appropriate for everyone. Evaluation by a qualified healthcare provider is required.
Your labs may be “normal”… but are they telling the whole story? 🍂
If you’re dealing with fatigue, brain fog, poor recovery, low motivation, feeling depleted, or simply not feeling like yourself, our Fall Energy Reset is designed to take a deeper look at what may be contributing.
Instead of guessing, we start with a comprehensive assessment of you + your labs and use that information to build a personalized plan.
🍂 THE FALL ENERGY RESET INCLUDES:
• 60-minute comprehensive diagnostic appointment
• Targeted lab testing based on your symptoms and history
• 30-minute provider lab review
• A customized treatment plan based on your results
We’ll look for patterns that may be contributing to low energy, from nutrient and iron status to inflammation, metabolic health, thyroid function, and other areas that may warrant a closer look.
Because “within range” and “feeling your best” aren’t always the same thing.
Fall is the perfect time to figure out what your body needs before heading into the long Alaska winter.
Ready to get your energy back? 🍂

We’re growing our team of incredible nurses at The Wellness Lounge! As we continue to expand, we have some exciting things on the horizon, and we’re looking for nurses who are passionate about building relationships with their patients, continuing to learn, and being part of a different approach to health and wellness. We’re excited for what’s ahead and for the people who will help us build it.
There’s not many things we don’t believe a good sauna session in our contrast suite can’t handle. Especially this time of year!

You can meditate, practice breathwork, stimulate your vagus nerve, prioritize sleep, and do all the nervous system work…
But if your body is physiologically depleted, it may still have a very real reason to stay on alert.
Your nervous system doesn’t exist separately from the rest of your body.
It requires oxygen, glucose, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, and ATP to function appropriately.
So when someone feels “tired but wired,” experiences a racing heart, can’t tolerate exercise, struggles to sleep, or feels like their body simply won’t settle, we shouldn’t only ask:
“How do we regulate the nervous system?”
We should also ask:
“What is the nervous system responding to?”
Sometimes sympathetic activation isn’t the original problem.
It’s compensation.
Your body may be working incredibly hard to maintain oxygen delivery, blood pressure, blood glucose, circulation, or cellular energy in the face of an underlying deficiency or physiological stressor.
This doesn’t mean breathwork, meditation, somatic work, movement, or stress reduction aren’t valuable. They absolutely can be.
But nervous system regulation requires resources.
Schedule a diagnostic consult today to get to the bottom of your symptoms.

Some hair loss is to be expected. But hair loss can also be amplified by nutrient deficiencies.

Many men start testosterone because they want to feel better.
And for the right person, TRT can be an incredible therapy.
But one conversation is often missing: What are the downstream consequences and how will this affect fertility?
Testosterone replacement doesn’t just increase testosterone. It also tells your brain to reduce the hormones that signal your testicles to produce testosterone and s***m.
That doesn’t mean TRT is “bad.” It means every man deserves informed consent before starting treatment.
If you’re considering TRT, ask two questions:
1. Why is my testosterone low?
2. Do I want children in the future?
Those answers may change your treatment plan.
Save this post for someone who’s considering TRT, and share it with a friend who deserves the full story.
