🔟 YEARS 🥳🎉🍾

August 2016 I picked up my first pair of tweezers.

That girl had passion and determination… but no idea what the next 10 years would bring.

The second photo is where it all began…and yes, I can laugh now because I really did suck 😂 But that’s the beauty of starting. None of us begin as experts.

This didn’t happen overnight.
This took 10 years.

Ten years of showing up, learning, making mistakes, fixing them, and doing it all over again.

There were days I wanted to quit.
Days when cancellations hurt, drove to work for no-shows, bills piled up, and self-doubt crept in.

But I didn’t quit.

I left dental school, a steady paycheck, and health insurance benefits all behind to pursue makeup & lashes. Safe to say my parents weren’t thrilled 😂 But honestly it was the best decision I ever made.

Next month marks 10 years in this industry!!

I’m still growing. I still have doubts. But I keep going.

To every client who trusted me even when my work looked horrendous…thank you 🤍 You’ve allowed me to build a career I truly love.

If you’re at the beginning, don’t be embarrassed by your “before.” One day it’ll remind you how far you’ve come.
