ALL GLORY TO GOD!! 🙌🙌 OUR GOD IS THE SAME GOD IN THE STORM AS HE IS IN THE SUNRISE. Heard this at our church service and it stayed in my mind because it’s so true!

Last night, I had the most overwhelming sense of peace and positivity come over me. We weren’t fearful AT ALL about today. I just knew God was covering her and that she was going to be okay. I had complete confidence and peace in my heart. And I truly believe it was because of ALL of your prayers. 🙏🏻❤️ So THANK YOU!! 😭

Cancer screenings came back NEGATIVEEEEE!!!!!!!! 🙏🏻🙌🙌🙌 Thank you, Jesus!!

They are pretty confident that this is ITP!! She had her blood drawn today, and her platelets are BACK UP to where they need to be currently!! 🙌🙌🙌 We are so thankful and hopeful that they will continue to rise and that we won’t see another sudden drop over these next couple months.

If her platelets continue to stay up, she can resume a little bit more of an active lifestyle!! Still no wheels or crazy movements that could cause a hard impact, but SHE CAN GO TO DANCE!!!!! 💃🏼🙌😭

They are hopeful that this won’t return!!! 🙌🙌 They can’t say for certain that it won’t because her platelets can always drop back down at any point, but they are VERY hopeful that this will be a one time episode and that she will continue to recover.

The IVIG immunoglobulin she received should last about a month. She will return in 3 weeks for another blood draw to make sure her levels are continuing to rise, and then monthly after that.

This could take about 3–6 months for her to fully recover and for her platelets to reach a completely safe level ans stay stable on their own but assuming her levels continue to rise and stay where they need to be, we shouldn’t have to helicopter her quite as much! 😂🙌🙌

We KNOW and BELIEVE in God that this will NEVER return!!! 🙏🏻❤️

Hello, Tomorrow is a big day and we are asking for some very specific prayers for our sweet girl Emmie. ❤️🙏

For those who may not know the whole story, what started as some very large, unusual bruises. Next day quickly turned into nosebleeds and then vomiting up a terrifying amount of blood, over and over again. We rushed her to the ER Friday and where her blood counts were found to be extremely low. She continued to vomit blood and Her platelets dropped as low as 7 and her hemoglobin dropped to 6.5. She was admitted to the hospital and placed under the care of the hematology/oncology team. Undergoing a blood transfusion and IVIG immunoglobulin. We were discharged Sunday night since some levels were rising. With not an official diagnosis yet. WE NEED BIG PRAYERS FOR OUR APPOINTMENT THURSDAY 🙏🏻

One of the possible diagnoses the doctors are considering is ITP, a very rare autoimmune disorder where the immune system mistakenly attacks the body’s own platelets. Of all the possibilities they are looking at, ITP would be the best case scenario. But even the “best case scenario” is still really scary for us, especially because Emmie is such an energetic little girl.

With her platelets this low, a fall or significant injury can potentially lead to internal bleeding. So even though she feels AMAZING right now (which is a blessing) and is acting like her normal, energetic self, her body is still very vulnerable. We are having to constantly remind her that she needs to slow down, we can’t take our eyes off of her.

One of the difficult things about ITP is that it can be unpredictable. It can sometimes appear after something as simple as a normal sickness, and even when a child seems completely well, platelet numbers can unexpectedly drop again. So we’re praying not only for her numbers to come up, but for her body to completely heal and for this to NEVER happen to her again.

There are also other, more serious possibilities that the doctors have had to consider while figuring all of this out. I honestly don’t even want to say those things out loud because I am choosing to believe and trust God that THEY WILL NOT BE HER STORY. 🙏

Right now, we are thanking God for the encouraging signs. Emmie is HOME. She is feeling great. Her numbers have started moving in the right direction. Praise God! 🙌❤️

But we still need your prayers.

This Thursday, she goes back for another blood draw and, depending on what her numbers show, they may be able to officially diagnose ITP.

So we are asking God for a MIRACLE. 🙏 FOR NONE OF THIS TO BE TRUE.

Please pray that when we get those results Thursday, we see something amazing, that her platelets and hemoglobin continue to rise, that her body has COMPLETELY healed, and that this entire nightmare is behind us.

Please pray for:

🙏 God for a miracle and that he would completely heal Emmie’s body and restore her blood counts to normal.

🙏 That she would be protected from any bleeding, falls, injuries or complications while her body is still vulnerable.

🙏 That her platelets would continue to rise and STAY up, with no unexpected drops.

🙏 That whatever caused this would be completely gone and never return

🙏 That God would protect our minds from fear and anxiety while we wait.

And please pray that every scary possibility the doctors are considering will be completely ruled out.

We are choosing faith over fear. We don’t know exactly what this journey is going to look like yet, but GOD DOES. He knows every detail of Emmie’s body, every lab result before it comes back, and every step of this journey.

We are believing for healing. We are believing for a miracle. We are believing that this will be a testimony of God’s faithfulness.

Please pray with us, especially before Thursday ❤️🙏

“Lord, we ask You to completely heal our sweet Emmie. Restore every platelet, every blood cell and every part of her body. Protect her from bleeding and keep her safe while she heals. Give her doctors wisdom and clarity. Let Thursday’s bloodwork be a testimony of Your healing power. Let every scary possibility be ruled out, and let this be the beginning of complete restoration. Give Emmie peace and help her understand that resting is part of healing. We place her completely in Your hands and trust You with our precious girl. In Jesus name, Amen.” ❤️

I feel God calling me into a season of trust and presence. So I’m leaning in.

Social media isn’t bad. But constant noise can make it hard to hear His voice clearly.

For now, I’m choosing stillness over scrolling.
Presence over distraction.
Trust over control.
