W**e O'Clock is quickly becoming a client favorite, and I completely understand why! That gorgeous berry-w**e shade is rich enough for fall without being your typical dark burgundy. And on a short, clean manicure? Perfection.

Double Shot by ESVY Nails Gel Polish ☕🤎

A rich, warm brown cat eye with the prettiest golden shimmer. ESVY is seriously making it hard for me to pick a favorite lately!

She asked for a short almond shape, but here's where understanding nail anatomy and structure comes into play!

Her natural nails have a **deep C-curve**, meaning the nail plate has a pronounced curvature from sidewall to sidewall. Combine that with very little free edge, and a short almond just isn't the best option for her nails.

Here's why: An almond shape requires enough length to gradually taper the sidewalls into a rounded point. With her deep C-curve and short nail beds, achieving that shape right now would require removing too much of the lateral sidewalls, compromising the nail's structural integrity and increasing the risk of cracking or breaking.

**Just because you can file a nail into a certain shape doesn't mean you should.**

If she ever decides to go longer, we'll have more free edge to work with and can reevaluate that almond shape without sacrificing the strength of her natural nails.

Pretty nails are great. Pretty nails that are structurally sound? Even better. 🤎
