A few fun salon updates for August! ☀️✂️

✨ NEW — Scalp Refresh Add-On!

I’m excited to now offer a Scalp Refresh that can be added to your haircut! This treatment includes a deep scalp cleanse and gentle exfoliation to help remove product buildup, excess oil and visible flakes, along with a relaxing scalp massage to leave your scalp feeling clean and refreshed.

If your scalp has been feeling dry, flaky, oily or just needs a good reset, this is a great little upgrade to add to your next appointment! 💆‍♂️🫧

As back-to-school season gets closer, my schedule is already starting to fill up. If you or your kids need a fresh haircut before school starts, I highly recommend booking your appointment soon to make sure you get the day and time that works best for you.

While you're scheduling, it's also a great time to book your next appointment in advance. Planning ahead helps guarantee your preferred spot and keeps you looking your best without the last-minute rush.

I wanted to send out a quick summer update! Square, the software I use for my business, is now adding a 2.6% + $0.15 surcharge to all credit and debit card transactions. If you’d like to avoid the surcharge, you’re always welcome to pay with cash or Venmo instead.

I’ve also opened up a few additional days on my schedule this month! If you’re needing a haircut soon, make sure to book your appointment before those spots fill up.

With summer approaching, I wanted to send out a quick update about my upcoming summer schedule. I will be available Monday–Thursday and only open 2 Sundays per month during the summer months.

If you know you’ll need a weekend appointment, please make sure to book ahead! My schedule has been filling up about a month out lately, and I want to make sure I can get everyone in as best as possible.

I just wanted to take a moment to say I’m doing great and feeling so good being back behind the chair after my surgery! I truly missed you all more than you know.

I also have some exciting news… thanks to YOU, I was voted Best Hair Salon in the New Brighton area for 2026! 🎉 Your Google reviews, support, and loyalty mean everything to me. Reviews truly make a huge difference for small businesses, and I couldn’t have done this without you—so from the bottom of my heart, thank you!!

A quick heads up—appointments are starting to fill up faster, and I’m currently booking about 4 weeks out. If you’re thinking about your next visit, I highly recommend getting on the schedule ASAP so you don’t miss your spot!

I just wanted to send a little update on my recovery. Things are going well, but healing is definitely slower than I’d like. I’m taking it day by day and focusing on building my strength back up so I can get back to doing what I love.

When I do return behind the chair, I may need a little extra time for appointments at first. If your haircut takes a bit longer than usual, I truly appreciate your patience while I ease back into things.

I also want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has reached out to check on me. Your messages and support have meant so much during this time. I truly miss working, catching up, and seeing all of you!

On a fun note — I’m bringing back my March Madness bracket tournament this year 🏀 So keep an eye out for another email soon with details on how to sign up!

I'll be out for surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome, something I knew would eventually catch up with me after 16 years in the beauty and barber industry. While this may be a temporary setback, I'm committed to making it through the upcoming holidays and the first week of January without missing a beat.
