Join us at More Today for an evening of custom mask making, skincare education, and relaxation led by Madison, our licensed esthetician!

Honey, oats, cucumber, and berries contain compounds that have been studied for their unique topical benefits. Madison will walk you through what each ingredient does, so you leave knowing how to build a custom mask that works for your skin.

The evening opens with a group intention setting exercise. From there, you’ll blend and apply your own custom mask, then settle in for a gentle stretch and meditation while your mask gets to work.

Anyone else’s skin over this heatwave? 😅

Summer can already be a lot on your skin, but adding a heatwave on top of it?? And idk about you but the heatwave isn’t keeping me away from the beach this July 4th weekend so I’ll be taking lots of precautions to take care of my skin.

Which is super important because heat and UV exposure can increase inflammation and show up as sensitivity, breakouts, and pigmentation.

That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t enjoy your time outside this weekend, but it does mean we need to give our skin a little extra love.

Here’s what we recommend most for taking care of your skin during a heatwave. Feel free to take these tips with you through the entire summer. ☀️

If you have acne, you’ve probably been blamed for it at some point.

“You need to cut out XYZ foods”
“You’re too stressed”
“You should wash your face more”
“Do you change your pillow cases enough?”

As an acne sufferer myself, I know those things are SO. FRUSTRATING. to hear. As if you haven’t tried all of those things already!

And yes, those things can sometimes influence acne, but they’re not the root cause. Acne is a biological skin condition, not a personal failure.

Acne starts with changes inside the pore itself, like: sticky oil, trapped dead skin cells, blocked pores, bacterial overgrowth, and inflammation. Whew! So many things.
