It’s hard to put into words what this milestone means to me.

Three years ago, I took a leap of faith and started The Yellow Rose Spray Tanning with a dream of helping people feel confident in their own skin. I never could have imagined the love, support, and friendships that would come from this journey.

God has been faithful through every high and every challenge. He has opened doors I never could have opened on my own, surrounded me with the most amazing clients, and blessed this business far beyond what I ever imagined. Thank you, God, for your provision, your guidance, and your unwavering faithfulness. Here’s to celebrating three incredible years and trusting Him with all that’s still to come.

To every single client who has trusted me with your glow—whether you’ve been with me since day one or just recently found me—thank you. Thank you for choosing to support a small business. Thank you for every appointment, every referral, every kind review, every tag on social media, and every encouraging word. You have helped turn this dream into something I am incredibly proud of.

One of the greatest blessings has been getting to know so many of you. What started as appointments has turned into conversations, laughs, hugs, and genuine friendships that I will always cherish.

There have been long days, challenges, and moments of doubt, but because of your continued support, I get to do something I truly love every single day.

A quick reminder about sunburns and spray tans!

One of the most common questions I get is, “Can I get a spray tan if I’m sunburned?” The answer is NO!—and here’s why.

When your skin is sunburned, it has been damaged and is often inflamed, dry, peeling, and healing. Spray tan solution develops by reacting with the outer layer of your skin, and sunburned skin simply doesn’t provide an even surface for that process.

Spray tanning over a sunburn can result in:
✨ Uneven color development
✨ Dark spots or patchiness
✨ Premature fading
✨ Peeling that takes your tan with it
✨ Further irritation to already damaged skin

My goal is always to give you the best possible results, and unfortunately a beautiful, even spray tan isn’t possible on sunburned skin.

If you’ve been burned, give your skin time to heal completely before booking your appointment. Your tan will look better, last longer, and your skin will thank you!
