Fall colors are officially making their entrance! 🍂✨

This beautiful dark burgundy unit already had the color, the lace was lacing, and the hair was giving! So instead of doing too much, we kept it simple with face-framing layers and curls.

I started with a clean middle part, used a hot comb to smooth and lay the sides, created soft face-framing layers through the front, then sectioned and curled the unit for movement, shape, and bounce.

And voilà… simple, but STUNNING! 🍷🔥

The right cut, curl pattern, and styling products can completely transform a wig.

This one is custom from the canvas up! ✨

After our consultation, we created a custom glued wig designed specifically for my client and her hair-loss needs. We went with a gorgeous caramel brown and black color blend for a soft, dimensional finish.

I started by prepping my canvas and securing the wig cap over the protected canvas. We incorporated her existing closure, then I customized the unit by meticulously laying and securing each weft, one track at a time, to create the shape and fullness we wanted.

Once the unit was completed, we styled it and voilà… a custom crown made just for her! 👑✨

This type of custom glued unit can typically be worn for approximately 6–8 weeks, depending on lifestyle, activity, maintenance, and individual needs.

At The Reign Room Studio, every crown gets the same level of care. My client came in for braids, so we started with a shampoo and conditioning treatment, followed by a steam hydration treatment to replenish moisture.

After his treatment, I blow-dried and lightly straightened the hair to create a smooth foundation for his braids. Then it was time to get to work… and the braids came through! 🔥

This wig was already giving! 😍 The hair was beautiful, so this one just needed a little wig TLC to bring the style back to life.

We started with a thorough shampoo and conditioning treatment, then molded the unit into a clean middle part before placing it under the dryer. Once dry, I blow-dried the hair smooth and straight to prep it for styling.

My client wanted a soft, face-framing look, so I added front layering to create movement around the face without taking away from the length and fullness of the unit.

A little maintenance, a little shaping, and voilà… another beautiful wig ready to REIGN. 👑✨

✨ ReWig Me Episode 52 | New Closure, New Reign 👑

Sometimes the wig doesn’t need replacing… it just needs a closure refresh! ✨

This unit had beautiful dark brown roots with brown highlights through the ends, so the new closure needed to be lifted and color-matched to blend seamlessly with the existing wig.

While the new closure was processing, I removed the old closure and prepped the unit for its upgrade. Once the color was ready, I washed and conditioned the new closure, then installed it onto the wig.

Next came the full wig cleanse and restoration: moisturizing shampoo, deep conditioning treatment, molding, and drying. After a smooth blowout, we finished with the styling—and voilà! ✨

Same wig. Fresh closure. Whole new REIGN. 👑

Wig season is almost here, and this is your reminder that your favorite wigs can be washed, restored, styled, and properly stored so they’re ready when you are! 🍂✨

My client brought in one of her beautiful wigs for some wig TLC. We started with a shampoo, deep conditioning treatment, and restorative care. After molding the wig into shape, I placed it under the dryer before finishing with a smooth blowout.

She requested a side part, so I created the part, refined the shape, lightly flat-ironed to smooth the frizz, then curled with my T3 curling iron. Each curl was pinned as I worked, then secured with a wig net for proper storage.

When she’s ready to wear it, she simply removes the duckbill clips, lets those curls drop, and the style is ready to REIGN. 👑✨

My client came in for a wig-install braid down, but before we touched the styling, we focused on the health of her natural hair. 🤎

We started with a scalp analysis to assess her scalp and continue working toward her healthy-hair goals. From there, we shampooed, conditioned, and followed with a deep conditioning + steam hydration treatment for some much-needed moisture and TLC. 💦✨

After her treatment, we applied heat protectant and my moisturizing blend before a smooth blowout. Then came the braid down—neat, flat, and ready for her wig install. 👑
