All my life I have seen a world where women of color are constantly overlooked, and underestimated. No matter how big or small I noticed the line that was drawn in-between women that looked like me and those that fit the ideal image of what people thought the standard of beauty should look like. It’s time for a shift; I want women of color to be recognized and honored as the powerhouses we are. We control 80% of the market when it comes to beauty, yet we have been left to mix and match, settle or have nothing at all, and you know what? I believe beauty comes in a unique palette with a variety of colors, and that is why Brown Dot Beauty is here to lead the way to a new normal. We believe our past does not dictate our future, and that we have the power to show individuality and inclusiveness. We are ready to take the world of beauty by storm, we are ready to enlighten them and empower you to feel absolutely confident and beautiful every step of the way. I am making sure no stone is left unturned when it comes to finding the right foundation shade for you; whether it be red, golden, neutral or cool undertones, I am making the effort to have a shade for you. My goal is to help you not have to play that game of Russian Roulette ever again. Join me in this revolution to change the way the world sees beauty.
