We all did it back in the day- anything for that tan skin. I mean- I even had one at my house! It's a no brainer. It's time to turn to a safer way to be bronzed.

We already knew that an increased risk melanoma is the primary health-related trade-off to getting a tan or burn, but new research found that tanning beds *triple* this risk, due to the unique way the lights mess with your skin. The study’s findings show that the UV light from tanning beds mutates skin cells and causes “melanoma-linked DNA damage across nearly the entire skin surface.” Read more at the link in bio.
